“.....according to a recent poll by The Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler.”

Color me surprised given the source(s).

What do Matthew McConaughey and George P. Bush have in common? They are both actors. Ken Paxton will get my vote all day every day. And until a serious contender comes up for Greg Abbott, same goes for him.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is eight points ahead of George P. Bush.

Looks like the game is up for the Bushes. Conservatives are on to them, and will not fall for their BS again.

Really… Mathew, if he goes with conservative values and is pro gun then he is done as a actor. They will no hire him again. But he hasn’t done much for a bit so maybe they caught wind. Speaking of which, I heard he never takes a bath. The cars he uses for Lincoln commercials has to be cleaned more than once to get rid of the BO.

Are that many Texans okay with McConaugheyyyyyheyyy’s gun control?

Matthew McConaughey Urges Assault Weapons Owners to ‘Take One for the Team’ to ‘Save Lives’
The actor gave an impassioned speech about the importance of gun regulation at the March for Our Lives protest in Austin, Texas on Saturday

By Jodi GuglielmiMarch 27, 2018 10:19 AM

McConaughey called for banning assault weapons for civilians and closing loopholes in the current background check system.

“One, let’s ban the assault weapons for civilians. This is a no-brainer. And to my friends out there that are responsible owners of these recreational assault weapons that they use for recreation, please let’s just take one for the team here and set it down. That issue saves lives,” he said. “Number two, let’s restrict the capacity of the magazines. Look here: in the state of Texas, we have a three shell limit to hunt migratory birds. Do the math. You get my point.”

Among Texas voters, 36% self identify as Republican, with 30% identifying as Democrat, and 34% as neither.

Translation : 34% are more conservative than Republicans!!!

McConaughey and Gov. Abbott nearly tied

And Stalin is Mother Theresa too.
Why bother posting agenda driven, far left political polls from the fake news sources again? Nobody believes that crap.

Of the total 1,090 adults surveyed, 1,016 answered the McConaughey question, 337 responded to the attorney general Republican primary question, and 1,086 self identified with a political party.

A poll of "adults" of whom 337 responded to the question on one of the races. That is not a good sample of those who may be voting to start with, and that latter small response rate would have quite a large margin of error if accurate at all.

“McConaughey and Gov. Abbott nearly tied”

This is typical. It happens all the time...it’s a ‘fantasy phase’ of the electorate, where they dream how wonderful life would be if the Leftist wins.

Assuming the conservative isn’t a total idiot (like Cruz), that quickly wears off and the Republican picks up 10 points, and usually wins.
