Personally, I am not proud of our educational institutions. They have failed to teach about personal responsibility, independent thought and America’s greatness.
There will not be any significant discovery or invention from this generation because they only learned how to follow.

Let them attend some third world university. They might actually learn something useful.
Maybe it should be a requirement to enter higher education that the applicant spend 120 consecutive days in a Socialist Paradise like Cuba, North korea, Venezuela,... before being allowed to file an Application
