Robert W. Malone (born 1959 or 1960)[1] is an American virologist, immunologist and molecular biologist.
Malone studied medicine at Northwestern University with an M.D., was a postdoctoral researcher in clinical research at Harvard University and received his residency in pathology at the University of California, Davis. [2]
As a doctoral student at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, he was one of the main authors and driving force of a study in which it was first described how protein expression in a foreign cell can be triggered by DNA or RNA packaged in fat globules (liposomes), at that time still within the framework of hopes for gene therapy.
This study is considered the first scientific publication on the basic principles, for example, of RNA vaccines that were successfully vaccinated during the 2020/21 Covid-19 pandemic. [3][4] Co-authors of the fundamental work of 1989 were Philip Felgner and Indian Verma. [5]
In a follow-up work, which was originally intended to be used only to control the transmission by liposomes, it was shown for the first time that even “naked” unprotected mRNA, which was injected directly into the muscle cells of mice, can trigger protein expression in cells over a few days. [6][4]
The decisive patents, in which Philip Felgner, later director of the Center for Vaccine Development at the University of California, Irvine, was also involved ,(see bibliography), remained with his employer company, which later resold them.
Philip Felgner, listed in the patents with Malone, was then chief scientist of the company Vical, which Felgner had founded.
Malone moved from the Salk Institute to another employer, but retired after only three months due to personal differences. [3]
Soon after his retirement, Malone changed his field of research and did not continue to work in this field of research. [3] He currently (2021) lives in Madison, Virginia and runs his own consulting firm.

Wow.
Familyop goes for the first Robert Malone he could find.
If he wanted to post the bio of what he thought was a poser Robert Malone, out of the probably 1000+ Robert Malone’s in the country, he could have at least found another Robert Malone who has a Ph.D. or M.D., or at least one whose age was the roughly the same.
