But But But But .......Socialism.
...just don’t come to Texas!
S hole people create s holes. Stay in san fransicko!
That is exactly what is happening,. AZ saw it in 2020. Texas will fall in 2024 or 2026. They keep inviting the liberal to come to their state.
Florida will fall with the east coast liberals fleeing NY and NY.
I grew up in STLCO. Always shocked about how bad the City has become but Sam Page the STLCO supervisor is wanting to reunite the city and county. He wants the county to be equally as bad as the city.
The stupid is so predominant with D voters that they are incapable of seeing reality. Stupid may be strong with that one, too.
San Fransh!thole
Yea, it was a creepy drive over to the Truman Presidential Library when in St. Louis a few years ago.
Nothing but abandoned buildings and sketchy surroundings as I made the visit. I couldn’t believe how hollowed out that area was.
Families Fleeing California Bay Area Causing Housing Frenzy in Austin, Texas
We were stationed at Scott too. Loved going to St. Louis. Lot’s of things to see and do. It’s a shame that all of our great cities are being ruined.
They won’t actually loose them, they’ll move to less liberal areas, and vote for every new law, regulation, bond and tax...
That sounds like the Admiral riverboat. I remember seeing it many times years ago, a sleek silver boat, kind of Art Deco style, that was always docked along the St. Louis riverfront.
I grew up in Illinois, and lived a couple of hours north of St. Louis for a number of years, before moving to Colorado in the late ‘70s. I have great memories of visiting St. Louis. My dad and I used to go to Cardinals games, at the real Busch Stadium, during the era when players like Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, and Joe Torre were in their heyday. That was such a special time to be a Cardinals fan. It was funny, my dad and my aunts were all Cubs fans, while all of the kids (my cousins and me) were Cardinals fans. That led to lots of razzing back and forth.
I also remember the St. Louis zoo, the McDonnell planetarium, and all the rest of Forest Park. I remember great restaurants like the Clayton Inn, a riverboat dinner theater we went to once where Huntz Hall, of Bowery Boys fame, was performing, and a really unique Noah’s Ark themed hotel and restaurant out in the suburbs.
And being a kid during that time, I have especially fond memories of what was then called Six Flags over Mid-America. I’ve never forgotten how sparkling clean it always was, and not being able to afford to go somewhere like Disney World back then, it was like our Disney World and it was magical. I’ve been really heartbroken to see what it has turned into as the current Six Flags St. Louis. Most of the atmosphere and magic stripped away, just to stuff it full of as many high-thrill roller coasters as possible. I love coasters; I remember being among the first to ride the Screamin’ Eagle when it opened in 1976, but once Premier Parks bought the place years ago they just threw away the quality of the experience, and the variety of rides needed to appeal to families, and instead just turned it into a run-down adrenaline factory targeting teens.
And from what I have seen, the rest of the city has gone down the tubes in similar fashion. Anyone who ever lived in that area knows what East St. Louis was always about, and to avoid it at all costs, and there were also always pockets of similar “diversity” in St. Louis proper that were crime-ridden, but from what I understand nowadays the rest of the city has gone rapidly downhill as well.
Very, very sad to see.
Oklahoma City is going far left as well. I’ve lived in San Francisco and Hollywood but Oklahoma City is more gay than either one of them now.
Democrats destroy everything they touch.
Steers and Queers.
Two years ago my GF and her son drove through St. Louis and were shocked at the disrepair and abandoned buildings.
Clearing the way for BlackRock and China buying everything and rent it out. Or let the rich Chinese have first choice.
Oh hell no. Put a giant fence with watchtowers and machine guns around it.
Make them actually live with what they voted for.
Escape from New York...
