A Ruling Class judge first gave this corrupt government official, who forged a document in order to frame a man, then entered that forgery into evidence in a FISA hearing, no jail time at all.
The judge's excuse? Well, this criminal lost his job. And might lose his law license. Isn't that punishment enough?...
I think the average street criminal would be surprised to learn that losing your job due to a crime, and maybe losing your Ruling Class Credential of a law license, is punishment enough.
And now -- about that losing his law license part.
He lost it for just one year. The suspension is dated retroactively to August 2020.
Clinesmith committed a felony helping to usurp the civil rights of an American citizen but he's going to be practicing law again, soon and probably for an enormous check at a prestigious firm.
How can this be justified?
Framing an innocent man/woman is to certainly roll the dice.
This country is DONE I see no way to fix it the ENTIRE government including military has been weaponized against political foes!! We have gone WAY PAST the point of no return!!
Justified LOL, there is NO LONGER justice in this nation!!!
when will he be joining the biden administration?
anyone notice that mao-lover anita dunn is back?
Meanwhile GOP lawyers working for Sidney Powell, Guiliani, Lin Wood, on audits, etc., are threatened every week with bunko lawsuits and disbarment.
“General Michael Flynn, please pick up the white courtesy comment phone” (repeat)
In a civilized country he would have been shot at sunrise.
Short of a civil war there will never again be a national level politician elected by the people. Only authorized candidates will make it past the exploratory committee stage.
Agreed. I was hoping for the same re FISA court.
Yeah. Let Joe Scmuck try giving false witness or evidence before any court? Years back I read of a woman who got five years for padding her income on a HUD Loan application. Seems in my opinion she managed to buy a home where her kind wasn’t welcome. You know, the Walmart stinking types.
"Lies" just means he defended Trump and claimed the election was stolen. About two-thirds of Americans agree with his "lies." He didn't frame an honest man like Clinesmith -- he defended an honest client.
The USA is rotten to the core.
The prick should be in jail. Hope he is robbed just like Seth Rich.
Ah yes. Here is that wonderful “justice system” that we are supposed to believe in. What joke that is.
It is a game that only those that pass the bar that are allowed to play. The court room, still one of the most corrupt places in the nation.
I figure this was arranged at the outset —
“Kevin! Hey, Kevin my man! How you doin’? Listen, this Trump thing is getting a little hot. You know, there’s about 5000 people who broke the law for us with this thing. It gets ugly if the Trump people dig too deep. We need to throw them a bone. You’re a low-level flunky — no offense, Kevin my man! — and we’d like you to take the fall for the other 4999 people. But don’t worry, after a few months you’ll get your law license back, life will go on, and a bunch of people will owe you a a favor. It’s a bright future, my boy. Are you in?”
If this surprises you, you haven’t been paying attention. He was CLEARLY a scapegoat from the start. “There was this ONE rogue agent who did this stuff. And see! We’ve arrested him, and he’s lost his law license! Nothing else to see here.” (Then when there’s a new sheriff in town, he gets reinstated, and probably gets a bonus for being a team player when needed).
He got a $100 fine, hes the only one that has had any kind of “punishment “ of the whole lot.
Great! Rudy can hire him as his defense lawyer [/S].
