I know, I know, but Sheriffs are elected at the county level and it’s no longer standard to believe elections where machines tabulate counts are legit.
Any sheriff who supports Biden needs to lose his job.

If the courts were not so corrupt then she would have a heck of big lawsuit settlement.
Agree. I think she has a pretty clear case. She was engaging in legitimate political activity and is being punished for it.
I am not sure how this attendance could be criminalized. Something is missing here.
I hope she is speaking to a lawyer. You can be sure if she wasn’t an “officer” the union would have something to say.
I’m sure there are many respectable Sheriffs in Texas that would be more than happy to get her on a lateral transfer, keeping her seniority and job position.
Not to be the grammar police, but this headline makes it sound like the sheriff attended the Trump rally, but didn’t enter the Capitol.

This sheriff can deputize thousands of armed patriots to carry out missions like searching for lost hikers, confronting federal bureaucrats and other necessary tasks that will bring peace to the community.
It appears that Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar doesn’t have a clue what his constitutional duties require; therefore, vote this snake out of office the next election and install a constitutional sheriff. I’m sure that Bexar County has plenty of patriots who qualify for the sheriff job.

Bexar County Sheriff’s lieutenant, who was fired from her job after posting pictures from the Jan 6 Capitol protest, has secured a $395,000 legal settlement.
The county’s insurer will pay Roxanne Mathai the federal out-of-court settlement.
