Trump lawyer: Manhattan DA won't charge former president Cy Vance's team plans to bring narrowly focused charges in its probe of the Trump Organization, says Ron Fischetti.
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance has indicated he does not currently plan to charge the Trump Organization with crimes related to allegations of "hush money" payments and real estate value manipulations, according to a personal lawyer for Donald Trump.
Ronald Fischetti, a New York attorney who represents the former president, said on Monday that in a meeting last week, he asked Vance’s team for details on charges they were considering.

It is really sad when a prosecutor is desperate to charge someone with a crime, any crime at all, and despite spending months and wasting countless thousands of dollars of taxpayer money, cannot come up with anything to charge him with.

From what I understood, she was augmenting the Manhattan DA’s investigation, not taking it over. I believe she sent him some lawyers and maybe some investigators as well, but it was still going to be Vance’s show.
However, I don’t live in NY, so take that with a grain of salt.
My corporate partners often do nondisclosure agreements so that parties that are contemplating a business transaction can do their due diligence but the financial info will remain confidential. Nothing illegal about that.
This entire issue has been made up Trumphating politicians and mediots. These Manhattan lawyers know all this but say nothing because they too are Trumphaters and they know at least half the country will believe this Bravo Sierra.

There was no way they were ever going to take it to trial. They just wanted to plant those seeds. I really was actually hoping they would go to trial.
The DA is basically admitting they never had anything to begin with..my cousin is an attorney and he said that this is the way for the DA to save face for his leftist goons..since he can’t give them anything he will charge some corporate members for giving out fringe benefits, which EVERY Corporation does..every single one, from company cars to bonuses, they all do it..so this case if it even goes anywhere will be thrown out within days its laughable
She and her husband Jonathon Swan / Axios are two semi-sensible journalists working in DC. They lean left, but occasionally show some neutrality.
No lefty journalist would have hinted at such a story as this, which throws cold water on all the buzz from the last 2 weeks about Vance dragging Trump into court.
Aren’t they supposed to dump news like this on a late Friday afternoon so it gets lost over the weekend? Timing must not be everything after all.

I have said from the start that Trump has to be the most honest man to ever run for office, because NO ONE has been investigated as much as him and he always comes out innocent.
