Well ain't he just a sexy thang. Does look a bit more rowdy in your neighborhood than it does mine. The Antifa sort keep their heads down around here - they know they're in bad odor. My fav tune is the NY1 with a 3.5lb connector, anything that needs micro polishing gets it, topped off with a wiping down with Teflon oil. Sweeeeeet.

They keep their heads down, for the most part. That one is something of an exception. They know they’re outnumbered, so they infiltrate 2A rallies and take pictures. That one’s name is (now) Kamryn Langley. FB page seems to be wide open. A sometimes funny look into his mind. Seems to spend a lot of time putting on make-up. There’s a soliloquy about a triple murder in town a week ago, and how the cops are incompetent bastards because the perp slipped out of town.

Yes. I never liked DA/SA until I started to EDC. Now I appreciate the concept.

They’re striker fired, no restrike capability.

I’ve been EDC for almost two decades and my experience and training over those years has made me hate DA/SA even more. The trigger position moving and the change in trigger effort make it less accurate in practical real world use, IMHO.

I should note that the XD and the Glock’s striker fire system are different and the XD is more like the 1911. The Glock only half-cocks the striker when you actuate the slide; pulling the trigger finishes cocking the striker then releases it to fire the weapon. On the XD, the slide fully cocks the striker and the trigger only releases it. The trigger is much better as a result.

We own 3 XD pistols. Excellent reliability, decent out of the box trigger, and a darned good value for the money. Especially so if you can find a used one.

All of ours are chambered in .45.
