As a small child Anthony Hendrie lived through the horrors of the Blitz in his home in Chatham, England
He remembers cowering under a Morrison shelter when the family did not have time to get to the basement.
As China rises and flexes its muscles, it is crucial that we remember the lessons of WW2.
He was 7 y/o at the end of WWII in 1945 which made him 2 in 1940.
How can the useful idiots in the democrat party forget something they never learned?
LOL, we need this guy more than ever today! It’s all just too silly. And evil. Today’s Left, silly & evil, what a combo!
The only “lesson” 21st Century libs have taken away from WWII is that evil should be appeased, never fought. Endless Munichs . . .
Monty Python was politically incorrect. So they’d never be in production today. As evidence of that, their famous “Bruce” sketch was banned from YouTube for being, well, politically incorrect.
Monty Python put all their sketches on YouTube for free. As John Cleese said, “You bastards would just steal them anyway.”
So they put up their “Bruce” sketch. And then YouTube removed it. I’m guessing it was because gays were referred to as “poofters” in the sketch.
Graham Chapman was a poofter.
That he was. And from what I’ve read, it was something he never hid. Yet he never tried to push his “politics” (if you want to call it that) on anyone else. That was exactly the way it should have been done.
Chapman is perhaps my favorite on that show. He was a hoot in every scene.
There’s a hillarious clip of the surviving Python members appearing with Graham’s ashes....and well, you pretty much know what happened next.
Monty Python.
“Monty Pythons Flying Circus’’.
