China Requested NIH Delete Samples From COVID-19 Patients in Early 2020

Something smells rotten in China, and it’s not the fish from the Wuhan Seafood Market.

The Daily Mail reported an American professor retrieved files deleted by the NIH containing crucial data from the earliest confirmed COVID patients. It appears the patients came down with the virus well before the infamous “seafood market outbreak” China pointed to as the pathogen point source.

The American professor who spotted their deletion and managed to recover some of the data said they suggested Covid was circulating long before China’s official timeline.

He found the early samples of the virus were more evolved than would be expected of a pathogen that had recently jumped from animals to humans — but did not say it gave more weight to the ‘lab leak’ theory.

Professor Jesse Bloom, a virologist from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, said he believed China had removed the files to ‘obscure their existence’.

British scientists told MailOnline the findings confirm Covid was spreading in people before being linked to wet markets, ‘perhaps months before’....

It’s not the Chinese ChiComs I’m worried about. It’s the American ChiComs (Democrats)!?!

I had read that several workers in the Wuhan Lab were admitted to local hospitals in November 2019. Maybe earlier. With an illness unknown at the time. Finding “patient zero” would take us a long way to figuring all this out but good luck finding those records.

Entirely plausible that these workers, infected and either mildly symptomatic or perhaps even asymptomatic, ate lunches at the wet market.

We knew about the Chinese destruction of case samples at the beginning of this outbreak back when Chinese doctors were reporting unusual cases (and had their samples destroyed).

The article doesn’t give a time line even tho it alludes to an early start date? Did I miss it?

Won’t find it and at least one of those doctors “died from Covid” (or mistreatment) before summer of 2020.

The United States needs to reevaluate everything regarding China, in the light that China is an enemy and everything they do is aimed at destroying the US.

I am in favor of outlawing any shipments to or from China. It is our purchases of their junk that has given them a 400 “ship” navy and thousands of airplanes.

And, incidentally, the man we need to do that is not “the big guy.”

somewhere on FR is an article from last year where Italian scientists examined matter from sewers in the Chinese immigrant section of northern Italy and came to the conclusion the CCP virus was in northern Italy in December, 2019.

could not find the article on FR but found this:

Coronavirus was already in Italy by December, waste water study finds

“Italian scientists say sewage water from two cities contained coronavirus traces in December, long before the country’s first confirmed cases.

The National Institute of Health (ISS) said water from Milan and Turin showed genetic virus traces on 18 December.

It adds to evidence from other countries that the virus may have been circulating much earlier than thought.”

Yes. I read an original hypothesis that suggested the virus came in with fabrics (and couriers) sent to Milan (fashion design capitol) from China, but later that it was more likely to have come from ship crews and those who flew in to Milan and Northern Italy.

But if from cargo ship crew, it means at least one person was infected several weeks earlier (and then spread among the crew) when accounting for travel time.

Still open question - whether these people came from Wuhan. Wuhan is not a port city though it does have rivers that may connect to the sea. As well, Milan is not a port city either. So, hard to digest any of this.

Yes, so if it was found in Northern Italy in December, and originated in Wuhan, this suggests it spread in China much earlier than November 2019. I mean, hard to imagine of the the 300,000 (?) or so Chinese residents in N. Italy, not many came from Wuhan. But hard to contract trace after something has spread so rapidly and between two countries.

In October of 2019, the Military World Games were held in Wuhan and many athletes came down with illnesses with Covid-like symptoms. Wuhan was like a ghost town at the time, according to some athletes, which may mean the authorities knew a virus was already circulating. Covid may have been spread around the world by participants in the games.

Good point! We’re in this mess because there is no opposition party.

More and more, when you get past the excuses and word salad replies, it looks like we take orders from the CCP.

Viruses go through many mutations as they spread outward from the origin. Being able to examine the original virus has the potential of offering irrefutable proof of its origin. China and the NIH were not about to let that happen.
