Kamala Harris Is Finally Going to the Border but There's a Small Problem

We reported on how the Biden/Harris people have finally caved and said that Kamala Harris will be going to the border (now that President Donald Trump is going).

Jen Psaki was doing her best to spin Harris’ trip to the border, but in the process, she basically admitted the border was out of control. She also claimed falsely that they were making progress when the number of people detained or encountered at the border is at its highest in 21 years.

But there’s a problem even now that Kamala has finally decided to go to the border. It’s as to where on the border she’s going, as Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Gov. Greg Abbott point out.

Cornyn and Abbott’s point? Harris isn’t even going to the place where the problem is the worst — in the Rio Grande Valley.

Now that’s kind of hilarious — she still can’t even get the place where the real problem is right. But one has to wonder why she isn’t going to the RGV?

There are a few reasons why.

First, exactly because it isn’t as bad in El Paso. So when the cameras are on, it wouldn’t look as desperate a situation. The wall also is more complete there and the border wouldn’t look as open. But also because the folks under the gun in the RGV, who have been so battered by the crisis, wouldn’t be in El Paso to talk to the media that will be following Harris.

We’ll have to give it to these reporters who get it and exposed this move by Harris, including our Townhall brother, Julio Rosas.

Why would Harris choose to visit El Paso over other areas of the border, like RGV or Arizona?

Without knowing details of trip, a big question is whether she mostly spends time with Escobar and others who endorse the admin’s border policies/management, or whether she meets other figures who are upset, concerned, skeptical etc

Exactly. If she went to the RGV, Harris would have to deal with and talk to Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) who would demand real answers and wouldn’t just be ameliorative.

I could tell before reading the story Harris was going to El Paso, which is not as bad because, surprise surprise, that sector’s wall system is way more complete compared to other areas like the Rio Grande Valley Sector.

So while it’s funny to suggest she has no idea where she’s going, she also has a very craven reason exactly for where she’s going — to put the best possible face on the mess that she and Biden created for the media.

Planned and coordinated with the MSM. They will show video of the “border” and then proclaim the Republicans and President Trump to be hysterical Liars.
They will show this “border” and say to the American Public, “see look at this, there’s no crisis on this border at all!!!”

With democrats and their hive mentality these days I don't know why anyone would even assume that. Cuellar would probably drop to his knees and kiss her butt. He hates Trump as much as any of them and he wouldn't hurt the Harris/Biden admin. because that would be bad for the dem team and validate Trump.

The thing is, she’s exposing herself very obviously as someone entirely unable to do so; yet she thinks it’s ‘smart’ and that she’s pulling the wool over the eyes of the people.

Harris seems to think that hiding behind the more completed sections of Trump’s Wall will somehow let her off the hook. It won’t, as the border is coming to her, regardless of where she is at the time. She originally waffled, and then avoided the border, simply because there would be no way to avoid a photo op, and that it would be an unavoidably bad photo op.

This is all due to the insane and idiotic policies that Biden has put forward, and that Harris has endorsed. Biden and Harris are wrong, and they must so something to rectify this untenable situation. Of course, the people of the United States, and the illegal immigrants are the last people either are thinking about. They are worried that this will look bad. Bad optics, as they say. Well, it looks terrible, and avoiding reality will do nothing more than make it look more terrible.

If either of them had a shred of character, they would publicly announce a dramatic and decisive change in what is a disastrous and neglectful border policy. They would realize what works, what should be done, and what is best for all. They won’t. They do not have that tiny shred of character between them. This is disgraceful, as are they.

The “grateful residents” of the El Paso area could gift Ho-Ho Harris with a live gila monster as a token of their regard for her visiting the [wrong] area. Or, a coral snake would make a very attractive gift as well.

Now that we know she has it planned, we can already visualize it as being the spectacular failure that it’s bound to be, and when it happens, Trump’s subsequent appearance and statements should get even more media attention, and that I assume will be a good thing.
