If this isn't a sign of Democrat guilt, I don't know what is. If you've been honest and above-board in conducting your election, there's no reason to fear an audit. If you've been dishonest and deceitful, there are plenty of reasons, from a long prison term to a firing squad.

This one has gone down the Democrat/Media memory hole but remember the 2000 election they claimed was stolen by Bush?
After Bush v. Gore was decided, all the Big Media players teamed up and hired a national accounting firm to do an "audit" of Florida. They served FOIA requests on every Florida county and audited every vote cast in the state.
The accounting firm then did a recount using every method proposed by either campaign. Bush won, no matter how the ballots were tallied.
The New York Times published the results on the front page and publicly ate crow. Something else that would never happen today.
Oh, and this was without counting the overseas military ballots. In one of the most despicable tactics I can remember, Gore challenged every military vote in every county because many were not notarized. As if you could find a notary on a ship or in the middle of the desert. A lawsuit was pending to count the military votes which I believe would have succeeded, boosting Bush's totals. So much for "count every vote."
These people are just a bunch of damn hypocrites.
