Jeb remains convinced that Jeb will be President.
The border issue is turning Hispanics red. So even if Whites become blue, this should help to keep Texas competitive for GOP. Joe Biden blew an opportunity to complete the border wall and take away that issue from independent voters and Hispanics who tend to vote Democratic but they are concerned about security because they live near the border.

Not in a million years would I vote for another Bush. No matter how much they camouflage their pre-election talk. Never, ever. To me it would be like knowingly voting for Paul Ryan, Lisa Murkowski, or Susan Collins.
