How about “Cops no longer allowed to arrest criminals if anyone in the community might be offended”. It’s only a step or two away, so why not go right to it now so nobody gets hurt feelings. I’m so glad that I retired from Law Enforcement many years ago.

Don’t police get into foot chasing precisely because they aren’t allowed to shoot a fleeing suspect?
As another said here, no car chases and no foot chases, then police are reduced to simply filling out paperwork in a police report.
