Patriot Chris Kelly from New York was arrested in the southern district of New York on January 20, 2021.
His first appearance in court was on February 9, 2021 by video teleconference.
FBI investigators said Chris entered the US Capitol during the Jan. 6 protests.
Federal prosecutors charged him with Obstruction of an Official Proceeding; Aiding and Abetting; Unlawful Entry to Restricted Building or Grounds; Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct.

On Tuesday the federal prosecutors dropped charges against Chris Kelly after more than four months.
The FBI lied and said Kelly entered the US Capitol. They took over four months to drop the charges they knew were a complete fabrication. The FBI agents will not be held accountable in their criminal acts.
Federal prosecutors told a federal judge Tuesday that they intend to drop a Capitol riot case against a New York man accused of having been inside the Capitol during the siege in January.
It is the first of the nearly 500 Capitol riot cases to collapse for lack of evidence.
The man, Christopher Kelly of New York City, was arrested Jan. 20 after the FBI said a paid confidential informant told agents that Kelly was posting material on a Facebook Messenger app about the riot and his plans to be in Washington on Jan. 6. The informant said a photo taken inside the Capitol was also posted, according to the FBI.
In the charging documents filed in court, an FBI agent said, “I believe the messages and image … reflect that Chris Kelly was using this account to inform associates that he had breached the Capitol and was inside.”

actually I believe the motivation for the shooting might be theft of the computer. Ashili Babet resembles the women who’s house in Alaska that was searched by the FBI looking for the computer. if over the security feeds the computer was seen being taken and there was a mask over the face of the person involved a vebal description would of gone out over coms and Babet matching that description might of been fired at by security who spot her in the widow with a back pack and dont know if she is entering or leaving....at this point my bet is the computer never left the building and is in the possession of a congressmen or a staff member.

The FBI is completely corrupt
It’s time to clean house, from middle management up and down in both directions until we get somewhere. When agencies created by Congress or Executive branches become beyond the supervision of and accountability to Congress, it’s high time they were all taken down a peg or five.
And it’s time the people still held in jail were given their time to tell of the treatment they’ve been receiving for the offense of taking selfies, when not that long ago the real First Family had to head for a bunker as the White House grounds were burning. And since the courts are throwing out Non-Disclosures by the dozen, they shouldn’t apply to the feds either
Trump laid open the door to the extent of corruption amongst the elite DC cocktail circuit. It was raw reality on daily TV as he, his advisors and his domestic and international negotiations were targeted by unelected career officials and their media minions playing to cast off politicians who imagine themselves gods and arbitrators of the American soul.
It’s up to Republicans to demand a reckoning by demanding our elected representatives demand it with the same outrage felt on their streets. Ok even if he were "guilty"...what charge there does not apply to business as usual for the various Leftist "Occupy" movements? How do Leftists conflate these charges with "insurrection" when they have been supporting similar behavior in "Occupy" movements for many years now?
When state authorities violate your constitutional rights, you file a civil suit under 42 USC Section 1983 (aka “The Ku Klux Klan Act”) and when federal law enforcement does the same, you can bring suit under a “Biven’s” action. It would seem he was arrested maliciously, and without probable cause.
Before it was the FBI it was the Bureau of Investigation. Hoover took over and formed the FBI in his own image; a crooked organization that spied on anyone and everyone. Hoover never let the truth get in the way of what HE wanted and he wasn’t above blackmail to get it. He instituted illegal break ins for himself (FBI) and Presidents.
Administrations came and went. Hoover remained until he died.
He NEVER let anything tarnish the image of the FBI. That is why there are better memories of it. Modern directors aren’t as careful as Hoover was.
In 1941 the English sent one of their European spies to warn Washington that the Japanese were planning to attack Pearl Harbor. For some reason the agent was sent to Hoover. JEH laughed the man out of the office, had him followed and started a smear campaign against the agent in the halls of power. We know what happened on December 7, 1941.
Who cares if he did go in? Trespassing does not warrant holding people in jail for months.
Months is solitary confinement and destruction of a person life should never happen.
But Federal Courts are not like other courts in the USA.
They are still after President Trump. Trying desperately to find some stupid charge that will stick.
Electronic surveillance has made this very hard to extract yourself from it.
Those involved in these plots for the past 5 years deserve many years in prison for their crimes.
