A few potentially bad apples could spoil the bunch. That is essentially the logic that David Chipman, President Joe Biden’s nominee for director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE or ATF) apparently believes.
During his Senate confirmation hearings, Chipman testified that he believes that some “law-abiding” gun owners could potentially become violent, and therefore further restrictions on all gun owners should be deemed necessary.
Chipman, who served in the ATF for twenty-five years, has since been a policy advisor for multiple gun control groups including Everytown for Gun Safety and most recently at the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. According to his bio, which is still present on the Giffords.org website, his expertise includes “Ghost Guns, Gun Industry, Law Enforcement, Assault Weapons.”
Some “law-abiding” Democrats could potentially become violent, and therefore further restrictions on all Democrats should be deemed necessary.
Some “law-abiding” Transgenders could potentially become pedophiles, and therefore further restrictions on all Transgenders should be deemed necessary.
A few bad apples in government could destroy America, so Americans should arm up just in case.
What is this administration planning which could provoke otherwise law-abiding to become violent?

Well if Chipman believes law-abiding citizens could become violent, then that’s reason enough for 99% of us not to trust him & he should not be put in a position of trust. He’s not fit for a “public servant”. How can anyone trust a person with an attitude like that? It becomes especially true if we are forced to trust him as a government employee.
Chipmann needs to be asked point blank just how many mass graves he is hoping to dig & how many death squads he HOPES to organize for Congressional Democrats from Federal law enforcement. I have watched C-span 1 ,2&3 since 1979 & have no doubt the 2nd Amendment is the only reason the atormenioned hasn’t happened yet.
