George Floyd Square very quiet again now. But a fellow reporter just had her phone smashed because she took photos of a storefront hit by a bullet.
Her phone used a racial slur?
Media should start placing big phony landscapes behind them as on a broadway show or the old Buffalo Bill Wild West Shows.
Peaceful, smartly dressed persons of color at ethnic food and retail shops behind the journalist holding the microphone. Like on the online dog supply company and smartphone plan ads on TV. Everyone getting along in harmony. Idyllic.
I didn't fall for the clickbait but there was a gif of the male reporter figuring out he had heard a gunshot and maybe he'd better crouch and then scurry away. Funny.
No sound but I can supply it: "Hey, Jason, that was a gunshot. Get your skinny white azz out of that place. Now, dummy."

I love how the first couple shots the thinking oh, probably just fireworks, this is a sacred space of George Floyd Square and they would never be any further violence here. Then like for five more shots later everyone Except the reporters realize its A barrage of gunfire it Hass to tell those idiots to duck.
Can you see the ED reporters go back like nothing happened, claiming it was just a few shots when just seconds ago you heard probably 30 to 50 rounds pop off in rapid succession.
Soon to be replaced by "Don't drive down MLK JR Drive unless the only other alternative is going though George Floyd Square".
