I was JUST reading a little history of the Wyoming Valley, PA area and there is an account there of what sounds a LOT like a UFO situation. Through the night and into the morning on Nov 13, 1833 ( I could have the date wrong, LOL) the whole town witnessed HUNDREDS of ‘shooting stars’ - all with long trailing tails that had equal lengths!
Can that occur naturally? For hours?

There are no aliens from far away. Wormholes. Or The spice (Melange) is vital to space travel. The Spacing Guild and its navigators, who the spice has mutated over 4000 years, use the orange spice gas, which gives them the ability to fold space. That is, travel to any part of the universe without moving. Because the Guild controls all interplanetary travel, they are the highest power in the Universe.
