many people might want to turn this idea into pancake dessert.

I'm always amazed at how many people (including in my own family) eat dessert for breakfast - pancakes smothered in butter and syrup, stacked-up waffles with whipped cream, massive cinnamon rolls. See lots of kids enjoying this too.

No worse than Calvin's "Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs."

No wonder diabetes has become and epidemic in this country ( a close friend, who is a school nurse, told me there is a record number of kindergarteners coming to school with diabetes).

IHOP is having an identity crisis.

Their menu is so volatile, it's not worth going there.

Love Sunday brunch. Love pancakes as part of Sunday brunch. Do not love the idea of a pancake bowl. Even worse, a pancake bowl from IHOP. Sounds revolting.

Those look terrible. I realize that everything you eat ends up in the same place, but I prefer the traditional buttermilk pancakes, with sausage/bacon on the side, and a little syrup. I wouldn't eat pancakes if covered with fruit and whipped cream. I don't like jams or jellies either.

IHOP used to have the best butter pecan syrup, but they must have decided to buy it from someone else. It tastes nothing like the original. Haven't been to an IHOP in years because of that. About the only time I go out for breakfast is when I'm traveling, and I prefer Bob Evans, and their sausage gravy, because there are none within 100 miles of me. Cracker Barrel is my second choice, because, once again...none are near me.

ummm Let me get this straight... the bowls aren’t made of pancake. It’s just that you serve the same old pancake in a bowl instead of a plate? Just wow, call the patent office! What’s next, coffee bowls?

I don’t understand. It just looks like a stack of pancakes in a bowl rather than on a plate. IHoP has always had specialty pancakes.
