Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a popular governor among Democrats and a Donald Trump antagonist, now finds herself the subject of a federal investigation.
The Federal Aviation Authority is investigating a flight the governor took to Florida in March to visit her ailing dad, WDIV-TV reported.

As many problems as the FAA has had such as the Boeing 737 Max, they're going to have to come down hard on Air Eagle LLC for the flight since they're not a charter operation. They can't afford to ignore it as it would open the door for other operators to do the same.
Air Eagle LLC may take the hit and pay the fines depending on how much the Democrats want to keep Heil Whitmer around but there's a lot of fake paperwork they'll need to generate and there are a lot of other politicians, jet owners, and crews who don't want the heat from this. Better to cut her loose and pretend she was the only one doing it.
Seeing as she's toxic and she's already done her part for the Fraudulent (S)election of 2020, they may throw her under the bus. She committed a crime and took an illegal payment-in-kind bribe. The Democrats support her in doing that, it's getting caught they have issues with.

It is my belief that the headline is totally incorrect.
The FAA can and very likely will fine the aircraft owner/operator for breaking any law regarding commercial operations not authorized by law.
The governor, who deserves it up her ... is not responsible for the actions of the aircraft operator.
It has been years since I flew, but my recollection is that the burden is on the operator and not on each passenger to determine that a flight meets FAA rules and regs.
Or under the marxist governemnt are passengers required to determine that the pilot(s) are properly rated and current, takeoff and landing minimums, routing, reserve fuel at destination, alternate and weight and balance are legal?
Even so, if she were a pilot and buzzed the pentagon at 100 ft., all that would happen is she would get her picture on TV.
