Republicans and Democrats are joining forces to pass an election bill.
While that might sound good on paper, it appears the bill is nothing more than a trojan horse attack on election integrity.
Alaska GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski and West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin are seeking to re-authorize the Voting Rights Act.

I knew that just by reading the headline. Republicans capitulating to Dems for personal gain would be my guess.
Assistant Democrats helping the Democrats to a permanent majority.
That has been the goal of the GOP since the Bush League Republicans took over in 1989.
No, they’re trying to get put back into law what the Supreme Court removed.
Southern states shouldn’t need to check in with the Justice Department in Washington before they make laws for themselves just because Democrat governors and legislatures in those states were racists years ago.
But to Lisa Murkowski, it’s her path to reelection.
Both parties are suspect. Never trust them.
Yah, the DNC has become the enemy of mankind. No better than back when they owned slaves, formed the KKK, etc. The GOP, tho, is sorta like a basket of apples with a significant number of soft ones. They need to be thrown out.

The difference is simple: the Democrats are evil, while the Republicans are mostly just ineffective cowards.
Of course ineffective cowards are “better” than evil people, if you have no other choice, but neither one is going to help us out of our predicament as a nation.
Exactly, but I don’t understand how they’ll work around the 2013 Scotus decision. Nonetheless they will try, and in the time it takes to reach Scotus again the rat radical DOJ will do enormous damage.
Article V. Stop the assaults on state sovereignty. Repeal the 17th Amendment.
