Actually we lost California for good when a judge ruled against Californians vote for the anti-illegal immigrant proposition back in the 1990’s.

Then we had a Dem governor who refused to contend the judge’s ruling.

I like the ideas a lot. Maybe Kaitlyn Jenner will endorse them.
