You raised about the only salient criticism: whether the risk of the disease outweighs the risk of the vaccine.

I think if you are old or have some health condition that makes you vulnerable you should get vaccinated, because in that case the risk of death from the disease seems to clearly outweigh the risk from the vaccine.

I am not any happier about the obvious political manipulation of the "pandemic" than you are.
