You don’t know from whom President Trump took his initial advice; and he still advocates for the vaccines - the safety of which are the point of this thread.

(Two Nobel Laureates in Medicine are saying Covid 19 was bioengineered. One was a guy who co-discovered HIV, so I guess he knows a wee bit about virology. The other one discovered reverse transcriptase...and he called the furin cleavage site on COVID-19 a "smoking gun" in a quote from an article published in the Wall Street Journal a day or so ago).

gas-dr was speaking of, and responding to a post regarding, the industries that create vaccines. You are speaking of possible origins of the disease itself.
(It doesn’t strike you that science can find a way to battle even an engineered disease - with an engineered vaccine?)

No it’s not apples and oranges. Morbidity & mortality maybe or may not be dose related.
I wish you nothing but good health however trying to pretend these shots are proven safe & have no complications requires cognitive dissonance and a constant attempt to promote a narrative.
Even if these shots are dangerous for some would be unlikely that everyone injected would have ill effects.
The point is “do not harm”.
A drug that is given to a healthy person has a much higher hurdle to clear. There is no excuse for giving these injections to children since their risk from COVID is so low.
When we know that there are preventative drugs and drug regimes that are curative one has to wonder why successful treatments have been demonized and blocked. Gets my spidey senses on the alert.
So if you’re ‘not living in fear’, why’d you get the vax? Especially if you’ve already had the rona?

I'm pretty sure you'll find that in the short run the vaccine is still far safer than getting covid for all age groups.
Logically the vaccine should be safer in the long run than getting covid as well. There are three main concerns as I understand it.
Me I"m hermitting, because I can. I might get the vaccine eventually.
Of course all bets are off, if Gates inserted his mind control chip into the vaccine.

It is important to look at these numbers critically. The comparison is between the vaccines & people who get COVID severely enough to get tested, a small percentage of Americans. In one situation you are courting risk. In the other situation there are many things one can do to lessen the risk of contracting COVID.
A study by Oxford University found the number of people who receive blood clots after getting vaccinated with a coronavirus vaccine are about the same for those who get Pfizer PFE, +1.00% and Moderna MRNA, +1.65% vaccines as they are for the AstraZeneca AZN, +0.62% vaccine that was produced with the university’s help. According to the study, 4 in 1 million people experience cerebral venous thrombosis after getting the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, versus 5 in 1 million people for the AstraZeneca vaccine. The risk of getting CVT is much higher for those who get COVID-19 — 39 in a million patients — than it is for those who get vaccinated. AstraZeneca’s vaccine use has been halted or limited in many countries on blood clot concerns.

And what’s the risk of dying from the vaccine for those 17 and younger?
I can’t imagine any scenario where I would get one of these shots before 2026. Maybe if I were held down and forced...
