Both. The temperature change almost always starts off with solar changes, ocean current changes that can last for decades, volcanoes, sudden lack of volcanoes. There are a few cases where large amounts of CO2 or methane were released causing some temperature changes. But the temperature change from greenhouse gases is small. The greenhouse gas change caused by tenoerature is larger. Neither is too large and it's easy to tell why: the earth would have spiraled into a hot or frozen state.
Right now the CO2 has risen well beyond the corresponding temperature change that could cause that rise. There was some natural warming from the Little Ice Age which probably bottomed out in the 18th century to the Grand Solar Maximum in the 20th century. That would have caused about 5 to 10 ppm of CO2 rise. Instead we have the mostly manmade rise from 280 to 415 and rising. That rise has caused a small amount of warming since it's about a 0.67 percent increase in the radiation from greenhouse gases. That bit of warming will cause a very small amount of furrther CO2 rise from further ocean warming.
In short, there isn't a strong feedback loop because there can't be. The long term changes in temperature (millions of years) are mostly the geography (e.g. mouintain ranges generally cause global cooling), and the sun. Short term: the sun and the weather regime that is modulated by the sun.
Other causes of the CO2 rise: volcano increases and biosphere decreases. Neither is a particular good explanation for the bulk of the rise, but they both have some role, particularly biosphere.

On the other hand you may want to keep in mind that there has been a steady increase in earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, flooding all over as well as one season running into one another along with crazy weather patterns WORLDWIDE. No, there has not.

Polar magnetic reversal could be playing havoc with weather these days That's plausible, and it's coming "soon", meaning 100 to 1000 years. But I'm not sure we would see any effects yet.

Forty little briefcase nukes, or the really big city-killer ones?

Do you think we could expect a little hysteria and exaggeration from a website called “iceagenow.info”?

Maybe white liberal ‘elite’ Bill Gates seeded the atmosphere because he’s a climate nutcase with more money than brains...

“Science” is always right.
Actually, science is very often wrong. It is a process, starting with an hypothesis, a "best guess" based on observations. Then, it must be further validated with supporting evidence, observations, and experimentation before it can even become a theory. And even then, scientific theories can be wrong. It is the goal of science to be right, but the path there isn't always a smooth road.

BusterDog, I'm in Houston. The weather forecast is NOT going to be "nice weather", in Texas next week.
https://www.weather.gov/hgx/climate_iah_normals_summary
Rain total is about 5 inches short so far.
Temps are lower this year than normal by almost -.5 °F.
The highs are about +1 °F.
The lows are also almost -1 °F.

To: volunbeer
It actually can - but we would actually have to have a serious science thread about the Thermohaline Circulation and the Gulf Stream and the long term impacts of melt water. Hollywood and a genera misunderstanding of climate have made that impossible. Plus - we rarely have a serious science thread on FR - we don’t get 2 or 3 posts in without people thinking they are Richard Pryor (which they are not) and making jokes that a 5 year old would make.

Well rainy but it doesn’t look like deep snow and frigid temps are forecast like this sensationalist post thread says there’s supposed to be.
