So, according to WP, Biden won one NE electoral vote from NE's Second Congressional District, which includes Dem leaning Omaha, by 22,091 votes:
2020_United States_presidential election in Nebraska by congressional district Now, I know that NE's one electoral vote doesn't change anything, even now. I realize that there is more interest in auditing larger states, etc. However, how hard would it be to audit 337,754 ballots? An honest audit, if it found enough fraud to change that one EV, might make the NE legislature change the present EV allocation by congressional district to a more typical state wide system for future elections. Finding fraud in NE also creates momentum for audits elsewhere, as it undermines confidence in the present regime.
It is also note worthy that ES & S, one of the biggest voting machine companies, is located in Omaha, NE. How did that affect things?

Definitely should be audited

... as it undermines confidence in the present regime. With who? Those who think the election was stolen don't need audits to believe that. Those who think it wasn't stolen aren't going to be swayed by partisan audits. Who do you think you will convince?

We need to build national outrage and a demand for widespread voting reform (IDs, purple ink, purge the rolls, etc.)

I like the Maine and Nebraska systems of electoral vote allocation and think it should go nationwide, or at the very least, adopted by any state with more than 6 electoral votes in total.
The winner take all crap, especially in electoral vote rich states, is an open invitation for centralized fraud machines in places like Hotlanta, Philly, Detroit, Las Vegas, etc.

can’t undermine confidence when there is none
2016: Democrats say it was fixed
2020: Republicans say it was fixed
Some audits, here and there, that confirm election results would build up confidence.
What does either side have to hide?
