Elise Jordan no doubt scored bonus brownie points with the MSNBC suits and Morning Joe hosts Friday. Because she managed to pull off the rare double-hit on conservatives, trashing both Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz in one fell [foul?] swoop.
The subject matter was the Senate's passage of what is described as an anti-Asian hate crime bill. Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri was the sole senator to vote 'no' on the bill, which passed by a vote of 94-1.
Among those voting for the bill was Ted Cruz. Which led Jordan to observe:
"Josh Hawley [is] just going out of his way to really out-Cruz Ted Cruz, which is quite something.
"And you just have to really work hard to try to be more loathed than Ted Cruz. But Josh Hawley seems to have decided that is his way and his glide path to the Republican nomination."

I guess when the government offs your husband [Michael Hastings] and gets away with it, the knowledge wears on you...
Well Elsie...How hard was it?
Well Elsie...How hard was it?
A little virtue signal to her masters. The RINO Room is getting smaller and smaller.
a) the one's that beat them. (Reagan, Bush, Trump, Tom Delay)
b) the one's that raise the average IQ of a room when they enter it: Ted Cruz, Robert Bork, Tucker Carlsen, Ben Shapiro).
The Republican's they like are the ones that lower the IQ of the same room (Romney, McCain, Collins, Murkowski, Sasse)
While I did not vote for Cruz (ineligible, and he knows it), he is held in very high regard for his positions on most current issues.
Indeed, it is difficult to think of many Republicans (or politicians generally) who are held in greater general esteem
On the other hand, this MSNBC person is a total unknown (not the least of reasons being that nobody watches that network)
I don’t loathe him, but I don’t like that he ran for President while Canadian.
Loathing is something she should be familiar with. Cruz has nothing to worry about it she is the fool that projects this.
“ I don’t loathe him, but I don’t like that he ran for President while Canadian.”
I guess if a Kenyan/Indonesian can do it...
JK, I believe strongly in the NBC clause.
Man, she looks like someone hit her in the face with a shovel.
“...for Cruz (ineligible, and he knows it)...”
Eligibility has gone out the window with the halfrican Odumbo, and nitwit Kamela!
Is she wrong? Ted is his own worst enemy. He is politically Immature at best. And what has he done to deserve the presidency? I guess from time to time he’s talks a good game. But results? Are there any?
Correct. And many of our constitutionally- recognized rights are now just history, too. Pray for America. The grand experiment of individual liberty has largely been flushed down the toilet
I am not a huge fan of Ted. But I would take that as a complement.
But I have to say that Jordan used to be quite pretty, and then something seemed to happen to her in the last year or so. Here's a photo from not long ago.
Never heard of her. Can’t be that well known in Republican circles. She should ask Liz Cheney for a job. They probably fight for the same team.
Who helps her with the big words in those books behind her?
