My son gets the crap Time magazine. It was a scam through a book store to get him to sign up for print magazines. He didn't know it. He canceled his credit card but still gets the mags — Time, Rollingstone, etc. They go right into the trash. No, not recycle but trash where they belong.

If we were running short on toilet paper again, we'd use them for that.

Anyway, I saw the cover. Pure leftist communist propaganda.

Ha! Reminds me of old films with Snake Oil salesmen hawking their cure-alls.

Their elixir was the cure for everything. More and more, the climate hucksters act and sound like the numb skull circus barkers who incessantly barrage listeners with a stream of impossible, loudmouth claims and indefensible ersatz!! Well, I'm not some hayseed standing out here with my mouth open and hanging on every BS idea they spew. I stopped listening almost at the beginning. Once they began to shout down and disallow all/any opposition .... they forfeit my attention and esteem

Here we go again from a fear based hysterical pandemic to a fear based hysterical climate crisis. They don't know it, but they have worn out fear hysteria. The scam won't get off the ground.

Project Veritas already gave us a heads up that this would be the next big story. Yes their videos were about CNN but what is the difference among the MSM?

Warmer climate helps protect us from plagues. Both the Little Ice Age and Dark Ages (prior cooling periods) had horrible plagues. The Medieval Warm Period and Roman Warm Period had a lot less plagues. We're all better off if the Current Warm Trend gets us to the warm level of the Roman Warm Period and, if we're lucky, the Medieval Warm Period.

Until a few decades ago, the few climate scientists who paid attention to these trends warmly welcomed the current warming trend. If you remember the 1970's temporary belief that a new ice age was coming, half of the concern was that we wouldn't have the benefits of a warm period like we had in the past -- including less plagues. A few decades ago political snake oil salesmen took a naturally occurring good phenomenon -- the current warm trend -- and made us believe it was something for us to be rescued from.

Does 'Time' still run a print edition? Do they even have covers?

Would they be worth more than Newsweek was when it was sold in its entirety as a company for $1?

Wonder if they will address this incoming snow storm? Please note how many record low temps could be broken...

“A late-season snowmaker spreading from out of the Rockies and High Plains into the Midwest and interior Northeast will be followed by record-cold temperatures this week.

The instigator for this spring snow is a low-pressure system tracking along a cold front that has dropped southward through the central U.S. That front will also send temperatures plummeting as much as 10 to 30 degrees colder than average for this time of year in the Plains, Midwest and South.”

Newsbusters dug this out from Time mag during my late teen years:

<>In 1974, Time said: “The trend [of global cooling] shows no indication of reversing … Telltale signs are everywhere —from the unexpected persistence and thickness of pack ice in the waters around Iceland to the southward migration of a warmth-loving creature like the armadillo from the Midwest.”<>

Gotta watch those armadillos.
