A recent Stanford study released by the NCBI, which is under the National Institutes of Health, showed that masks do absolutely nothing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and their use is even harmful. NIH published a medical hypothesis by Dr. Baruch Vainshelboim (Cardiology Division, Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System/Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, United States).

Did you hear about the peer-reviewed study done by Stanford University that demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that face masks have absolutely zero chance of preventing the spread of Covid-19? No? It was posted on the the National Center for Biotechnological Information government website. The NCBI is a branch of the National Institute for Health, so one would think such a study would be widely reported by mainstream media and embraced by the “science-loving” folks in Big Tech.

Instead, a DuckDuckGo search reveals it was picked up by ZERO mainstream media outlets and Big Tech tyrants will suspend people who post it, as political strategist Steve Cortes learned the hard way when he posted a Tweet that went against the face mask narrative. The Tweet itself featured a quote and a link that prompted Twitter to suspend his account, potentially indefinitely.
The NCBI study begins with the following abstract:
Many countries across the globe utilized medical and non-medical facemasks as non-pharmaceutical intervention for reducing the transmission and infectivity of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19). Although, scientific evidence supporting facemasks’ efficacy is lacking, adverse physiological, psychological and health effects are established. Is has been hypothesized that facemasks have compromised safety and efficacy profile and should be avoided from use. The current article comprehensively summarizes scientific evidences with respect to wearing facemasks in the COVID-19 era, providing prosper information for public health and decisions making.
The study concludes (emphasis added):
The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

The data from areas where masking is mandated vs. where masking is a matter of personal choice supports my conclusion. My focus (and my literal anger at mandated masking of healthy people) has consistently been on the damage this powerful and persistent visual reminder that "America is sick" has -- and continues to have -- caused to our society, to our economic recovery, to our children and to our very quality of life from the fear, as well as the distrust, the depression and the anger it has caused among 330 million American citizens.
I have been -- and continue to be -- less concerned with the motivations than of the outright lies told by politicians, unelected bureaucrats, the media and social media and, particularly of the medical "experts" who know better ... who know they are lying directly into the faces -- the masked faces -- of all Americans. Now, to the point of this missive: This Stanford University definitive study directly contradicts the recommendations, enforced as mandates in a number of states, of the CDC, Fauci, Biden and myriad "medical experts". The focus of this study is not as much on the research group's conclusion that "Both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to reduce human-to-human transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19"; rather, the focus is on the research group's conclusion that "Wearing facemasks has adverse physiological and psychological effects ... [and] long-term consequences of wearing facemasks on health are detrimental."
The group's overall recommendation is that the long-term practice of wearing facemasks has the "strong potential for devastating health consequences," and that masks should be "avoided from use."
Women are seen as a dangerous object in Islamic thought, but we egalitarians see men and women as the tainted objects. We are bowing to sharia law now, but it won't be enough. The Moslems will take over from the revolting lib/commies and we will really get sharia law -- not some variant.

There’s a big difference between stops and restricts. I’m not going to read the article to see exactly what was said but I’ll just say this. I doubt it was said that the mask stops oxygen molecules while passing virus. What I’m guessing was said or meant was the mask restricts the flow or volume of air causing a lower O2 level. No different than an air cleaner on a car or a filter on the AC unit. Both restrict some even when new. The less restriction the easier it is to breath.
I imagine that eventually some people will be buried with their mask still on...
Now how virtuous is THAT?
Even if we used mosquito netting, it would be foolish to say that will prevent mosquito bites. And it’s just one bite could do the trick.

Standford didn’t do a study. The writer of the original article, not the ever hyper ventilating Hoft, did a study of studies and writes such brilliant gems as this
