Coke Changes Their Tune After Intense Backlash
Wayne Dupree Media ^ | April 14 , 2021 | Missy Crane

Coke got woke, and now they’re gonna go broke.

I don’t know why these companies literally can’t stop themselves from jumping into social and political issues. It’s like, you make fizzy sugar water, shut up.

But much like sports and Hollywood, these progressive corporate commies just can’t stop themselves from giving their unsolicited two cents.

Everyone’s a friggen activist nowadays.

And it’s not like going “woke” is this super-profitable gig for most companies and sports franchises.  Hollywood is quite literally circling the drain as we speak – there are more people in my living room right now than actual viewers who watch their narcissistic awards shows, and the ratings for sports are on their second flush as well.

So, getting all SJW and political isn’t a smart gig when the vast majority of the country is sitting back looking at this circus unfold and thinking everyone involved has some type of personality disorder or emotional imbalance.

Even so, companies like Coke and Apple, and about a bazillion others, decided to chime in on the new voter integrity laws in Georgia…A bunch of soft drink executives, who didn’t read the bill, hop on the wave of outrage in order to score some quick progressive brownie points, not realizing the wave won’t last – it’s gonna hit the shore and crash within days, and they’ll be left standing there with a brand that’s destroyed and customers who are pissed.

Coca-Cola is hiding the truth: soda sales have been declining for years

Which is why they long ago diversified. Coke owns juice, tea, coffee, sports drinks, water, & milk (yes milk) brands.

BTW, Coke's biggest market isn't retail sales, it's restaurant & business (hospital, long term care, and such) sales. If you order a coffee, tea, or juice at a restaurant there's a better than even chance you are drinking a Coke product.

I’m surprised that nobody in the woke community has noticed that Coke was started by a Confederate colonel.

I drink about 3 Coke’s a year. No other sodas. I do drive-thru for a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee once in awhile. Nothing else on that list. But it’s pretty challenging to avoid products made by woke or Chinese companies.

A home brewed batch of tea is how to start the day...and then ice the rest.

No sugar, just enough caffeine. I recommend it.

You would think that the 85 million people that voted for Biden (!@#$%^&*) would be sucking down this product in such vast quantities that Coke would be enjoying record sales.

P.S. Coke said rednecks won’t change their bottom line enough for them to care anyway, and I am a redneck.

Used to drink 2-3 Diet Cokes a day. Had to have kidney stones removed by going thru my back. Doctor said to quit drinking it. Haven’t had one in 6 years. I’ll drink a Fresca once in a while.

Coca-Cola has been in trouble for years due to health conscious consumers changing drinks. They, like many other companies are desperately grasping anything to stem their decline. In this case, they just accelerated it due to their blatant hypocrisy.

As I posted on earlier threads...

So Coca-Cola is saying the requirement that their employees have valid identification to get into the production plants and corporate offices is unacceptable?
...that their delivery drivers have valid identification is unacceptable?
...that their health and safety inspectors have valid identification is unacceptable?
...that the pilots for their corporate jets have valid identification is unacceptable?
...that their union employees have valid identification in order to vote within the union is unacceptable?
...that members of their corporate board have valid identification in order to vote is unacceptable? or can any illegal or fake person vote in Board meetings?
What about the rest of Coca-Cola's employees? Can I claim a paycheck from Coca-Cola without an ID?
If having proper paperwork is unacceptable to Coca-Cola, they'll have no problem if someone uses their trademark on hats, t-shirts, and souvenirs.

Coca-Cola has shown themselves to be nothing more than mere hypocrites.

I loved Coke. Now I drink Pepsi, and it isn’t as good. If I could get RC, I would. RC Zero would be great.

Well, CEO Jim, let’s all get together and talk. We’ll all have a Pepsi and discuss this thing until we’ve had so much Pepsi we all have to pee.
