The White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that the Biden administration is looking for creative ways to encourage white conservatives to take COVID-19 vaccines, such as using public service announcements (PSAs) through different popular channels.
Racist statement
I wouldn't grant the pharmaceutical companies any assumption that they want the corona virus sterilized out of humanity like smallpox. If it hangs around mutating, the Pharma companies sell more product that way. An ever mutating bug like the corona is perfect for their bottom line (not even mentioning the political control it enables!).
Thanks to the easy-peasy issue of an Emergency Use Authorization (Pharma's in bed with the NIH? nahhhh, couldn't be ...), they don't have to have years-long trials. In the past, these trials were good-for-nothing because this cold virus always mutates to a different animal by the time the strain under review gets through testing.
So many benefits from this virus, so little downside (that is if you're part of the Big Pharma/Big Government complex).
Perfect!!
Right now in California, LA County sheriffs are delivering shots to the mentally challenged. When such a person is screaming while being jabbed or just lays there not really knowing what is happening to them, you know that there is no consent going on. It is being forced on them.
Well, just refuse.
So far, I haven’t been pushed, cajoled, pressured, shamed, threatened, etc.
Critical thinking is not allowed in Masked Potato’s Puppet Palace.
They could try to take them back. :)
they could try
after a lot of trying they probably could get them back
as they can last longer than any of us resource wise
Why would they want an AR with a melted barrel?
I perceive that you and I are, in fact, on the same side of this issue - so I don't understand your taking this tone with me.
And yes: Many people have been subjected to a lot of pressure, shaming, etc. by the media, some State governments, and the leftists (and even many conservatives).
You should consider yourself lucky that you, personally, have not been subjected to such pressures. Some good people's livelihoods are on the line. Yours, it appears, isn't (neither is mine). Bully for you!
Regards,
They just dont want YOU to have it, melter barrel or not.
Rd later.
I don’t think I took any particular ‘tone’. I posted a suggestion.
I heard today that TPTB might recommend a THIRD booster for those vaccinated.
I think that’s when the rubber will meet the road - and lots of people will just refuse.
Again, there are many situations in which people are required to subject themselves to vaccinations - public schools, universities and colleges, military service. And I don’t know, but as far as I can tell, private businesses (so far) can make their own rules - as long as they aren’t ‘discriminatory’ according to the generally accepted, temporally fashionable grounds.
All of this will probably wind up in endless lawsuits.
Yes, your employer is of course entitled to command you - on pain of summarily termination - to let someone inject an untested, experimental "thing" into your body.
That you may harbor moral qualms about aborted fetuses, have a predisposition to blood-clotting, be pregnant, already have had the Covid, etc. is IRRELEVANT. Your 25 years of faithful service, your pension, etc.? IRRELEVANT!
You're FIRED!
Regards,
You voiced the recommendation to "just refuse."
I think that my initial posting made it quite clear that I was no spineless sycophant or subservient sheep who had to be persuaded to stand up for his rights.
Your "suggestion" that I "just refuse" implies that I had seemed weak-kneed.
But I only said "tone" (not "shameless arrogance," "high-handed attitude," etc.) - so please don't let's get into an argument about it!
Regards,
I'm willing to be big-minded here and simply assume that your "suggestion" was directed at the public-at-large / to other FReepers in this thread who might stumble across it, not to me personally.
But be warned! I'll have no more of your lip! (Ha! Just joking! As I said, I infer that you and I are actually like-minded.)
Regards,
You seem to have spent a lot of time on numerous responses to only one of my posts.
I just don’t see the vaccine issue as ‘the hill to die on’, right now.
If you’ve been watching Congress, there are more pressing issues over which you can twist your skivvies.
REGARDS!
Yeah, time is heavy on my hands.
Usually, I post a single magnum opus in reply - in this one instance (on a whim), I instead made multiple short replies. No, I'm not stalking you (if that's what you're implying).
Some folks might find a single, massive post - even if neatly paragraphed - a little daunting and/or boring. So I thought that, this time, I'd instead make multiple short replies.
I was hoping that my attempt at some mild humor in my previous (last-until-now) post would indicate that I harbor no animus towards you and/or have not "singled" you out.
Yes, there are other, very pressing issues over which one could "twist one's skivvies" - but the vaccine issue is not trivial, and one of the Left's most-insidious recent tactics is to enact some seemingly trivial infringement of our civil liberties or to trumpet some absurd nonsense (viz. the "Dr. Suess is racist"-meme), and then to mock us conservatives for taking the bait and "obsessing" over some minor issue. Very insidious, indeed!
Regards,
I sort of enjoy massive posts.
And even President Trump has encouraged people to be vaccinated. He was the first to ‘lock down’ the nation, and I could only believe that he was privy to some intelligence which suggested that this could be very dangerous.
I agree that the vaccine should be a personal choice; but for the vast majority of people, I don’t believe that it’s a danger. (Long-term efficacy is another matter...)
