In the meantime, here's what experts say you should know about vaccination cards.
The first thing experts recommend once you've been vaccinated is taking a digital photograph of both sides of your personal record card. You can also scan the card and save the file on a laptop or desktop, said Megan Ranney, an emergency physician at Rhode Island Hospital and an associate professor at Brown University.
By contrast, you may want to print a copy of the photo of the vaccination card and store it in your wallet. While some experts advise against having the original card laminated, so that booster shots of vaccine can be added if that becomes necessary, others say that's OK because a more sophisticated record-keeping system is likely to be in place by then.

Some states are making moves to prohibit that.
I carry my vaccination card with me just in case but no way am I installing any kind of app on my phone that allows others to track my vaccination status.
you are neither sentient, honest, or conservative.
you are a liar.
the post was made because it is news. it shows
no tests were made despite that YOU LIED that there
were adequate tests.
you never answered who you shill for. Favor us,
and then go away.
You do not seem to understand that the vaccination card is a precious family heirloom. You wouldn't want to burn it. Years from now your family members might want to gather round and gawk at your liberal participation ribbon of courage, the leftist equivalent to the Medal of Honor. It should be mounted in an expensive frame and displayed prominently, along with your birth certificate, diplomas, little league awards, and lawn dart trophies so that anyone entering your home can see that you are a hero.
“Nothing like being a member of an exclusive club.”
I think what we need is a secret vax handshake.
LOL - maybe just burn a copy of it then.
Hint: it has to do with spitting in your hand before you shake hands.
The market has been saturated with vaccines, but so have the news reports of potential and possible side effects from the shots.
Just this morning, the CDC and the FDA recommend pulling back on the Johnson and Johnson version because of blood clotting issues.
I've read reports from multiple sources recently of over 50% of medical personnel deciding not to get the vaccine.
I get daily emails from the VA pleading and begging me to come in and get my vaccine, which I have decided to ignore and not get the shots.
The government may have oversold their ability to provide immunity from the covid with the vaccines.
Reports of still having to wear masks, social distance and stay in lockdowns have made people question, what's the point?
Incidences of people testing positive for the covid after getting immunized are popping up. Dodgy stories that the shots only providing short term immunity and annual booster shots will be required have chilled the initial excitement over the vaccines.
According to the CDC, approximately 75 million people have been fully vaccinated (both shots) in this country. That's only about a quarter of the total population. So much for vaccinating the entire population of the country.
And finally, there seems to be a disconnect between what the Fauci's and the CDC and WHO are telling us and what I see on the ground in my area. What I see is life is pretty much back to normal, but if you follow the news, there are new variations of the covid coming, the pandemic is far from over, the world is still coming to an end, seems to be the message.
I've had enough of the government's use of the virus and pandemic as tools to control and manipulate the population. I, for one, refuse to play their game anymore. I get numb everyday reading about nothing but covid in the media but in my own life, I see no evidence of what we're being told by the "experts". Enough!
My mother is in her mid 80s was very active going for long walks and to the YMCA every day. She has no "history of allergic reactions". She got the first shot and within a week she was unable to make it from the bedroom to the bathroom without assistance. She has been crying and saying that she just wishes that she could die because she is in so much pain. She has lost so much weight that she looks like a little death camp survivor. It wasn't an allergic reaction in any normal sense of what an allergic reaction is; it took several days for her to start going down hill.
Nothing her doctor has tried has given her any relief and she is still a mess after over 6 weeks. We have assumed that she probably is not going to make survive this. She is a retired nurse who used to teach nursing back when they had nursing schools associated with hospitals. She wanted to have the shot so that she could show her friends and family who were reluctant to get vaccinated that it was safe. Now she is telling everyone not to risk it, that the cure is likely worse than what it is trying to prevent.
I worked for years as the senior officer on a hazmat team. I have had ten times more vaccinations than most people as have my coworkers. I am definitely not getting this one, because for me the risks outweigh the benefits. I do not know the percentage, but many of my former coworkers and subordinates have come to the same conclusion and at the risk of losing their positions are refusing to get the vaccines as well
Thank you for being compliant. -
your Friend,
the Government.
Never-ending conditioning, and the public loves it. Stand back and watch the morons walking around with their useless masks.
Neither of us have worn masks or social distanced or even locked down the last year. We've pretty much, which a few exceptions, lived our normal lives.
We've decided independently of each other, that we'd be tempting fate to get this vaccine. The benefits are few and the risks are uncertain to high when compared to the risk of getting the covid itself which has a 95 to 99.8% survivability rate, depending on your age and comorbidities.
We've both decided to pass on the vaccine and continue to take our chances in the real world. Life comes with risks but we are of the philosophy put for by the protagonist in the movie, The Shawshank Redemption, when he opines that one should "get on with living or get on with dying".
At our ages (mid-70s) we're in our end game already. Life remaining is too short to waste trying to keep from dying when we're going to do so soon enough anyway.
Great Minds Think Alike. See post 4.
For some reason Dirty Harry came to mind when I thought of that. Here’s a 7 point suppository Captain. What did you say? I said stick it in your ass.
“others say that’s OK because a more sophisticated record-keeping system is likely to be in place by then”
Meaning that fake card you printed up yourself will be obsolete soon because they’ll issue passports with digital holograms and microprinting and RFID chips.
They were going to but the stickers fall off too quick, so I hear they are going to tattoo a number on your arm instead.
Save it next to your government issued fossil fuel ration card, your government issued food ration card, your government issued health care card and most important your government issued racial and gender identity card. Note if your racial identity and gender card says white straight male expect to be discriminated against.
