President Joe Biden has pitched his infrastructure package as a weapon essential to keeping pace with China, calling it a "blue-collar blueprint" that his administration says will create millions of jobs and better position the United States to compete with Beijing.
Justifying his $2.25 trillion proposal, Biden said Wednesday that "China and the rest of the world" are racing ahead of the U.S. All told, he mentioned the country six times.
"Do you think China is waiting around to invest in its digital infrastructure or research and development?" he asked.
"I promise you, they are not waiting. But they are counting on American democracy to be too slow, too limited, and too divided to keep pace."

Will Biden outsource infrastructure construction work to China? Great way to establish permanent Chinese spy network in the country and deny Americans employment for many years to come. With Biden in the WH we have everything going against us. The 2020 election was America’s coupe de grace. It’s doubtful America gets a 2nd chance after the Biden era.
All of you Biden voters will get your times for regret. Guaranteed.
Don’t joke. Here on Long Island the LIRR,run by a state authority, is engaged in a 10 Billion dollar project to add a third track on its main line. That project is being constructed with China Construction America in the lead.
Pelosi let the cat out of the bag she stated Biden’s infrastructure package was a human infrastructure plan.
They are working as fast as they can before the 2022 elections to make the socialist country happen.
It would be GREAT if it was half the cost and invested in actual infrastructure.
Airports, roads, bridges, dams, ports, fiber optics, water and electrical distribution, energy production etc.
Now we have the philosophical infrastructure of Critical Race Theory, Public Education, and little else.
Yeah exactly! Start putting money into things people actually NEED
TheyâÂÂve really kicked it into overdrive lol
