Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian issued a company-wide memo blasting the newly passed voter ID laws in Georgia.
Bastian said the bill is “unacceptable” and does not match Delta’s values.
The new law requires a photo ID to obtain an absentee ballot.
Democrats say this is racist. Bastian agrees.
Bastian seemed to forget every passenger boarding a Delta plane shows an ID.
Every passenger shows IDs, but has anybody ever seen a black person on a plane? You have to get on the internet to book them and black people do not know how to do that

Both Canada and Mexico have Voter IDs to vote. Why can’t the US mandate it federally? The US currently has 14 states that require a photo ID to vote.

I think it’s the federal government requiring ID, but Delta might also.
In any case, if the ID rule were lifted, we’d go back to where we were decades ago, when ID wasn’t needed to fly (and because of that people could usually get away with selling/swapping/giving away tickets. Remove the ID requirement for Delta only and they’d go broke in a few weeks.
I’m calling both bullshit and racist on that one.
Last time I flew was over 10 years ago, several blacks on the plane, including after a short layover and plane change in Dallas.
Saying they don’t know how to either get online or book tickets is both racist and an outright lie. Just about as dumb as saying blacks are stupid because of their race, which is what you imply.

Because the Democrats WILL NOT permit it. As far as I know, we’re the ONLY major, ‘free’ country (in fact, maybe the ONLY country) in the world that even has debated the need for Voter ID.
The Democrats have resisted Voter ID for at least 20 years, and people have had THAT LONG to figure out that the Democrats have no interest in fair elections...so I’m more sickened by our side for not calling them out as wanting fraud (only Trump has), because they benefit from it.
