As was shown in the first article in this series, “diversity, equity, and inclusion” is a misleading term, indicating a radical political agenda rather than a set of ethical principles.
The second article analyzed a couple of specific examples of how DEI is being used to create political litmus tests for hiring and promotion at the University of North Carolina’s flagship campus at Chapel Hill.
But Chapel Hill is not the only school in the UNC system that is pushing the DEI agenda. In this article, the third in the series, the Martin Center takes a cursory look at DEI initiatives at other campuses in the system. It is not a comprehensive study, but enough activity was found with ease to suggest that there is a serious problem throughout the system.
Much of the current DEI activity involves forcing faculty job applicants to include a “Diversity Statement” with their curriculum vitae. This was required for applicants to the following positions:

I have a litmus test for leftists. Put them all in a room and hook up the ventilation to a vehicle exhaust. After letting the engine run for a couple hours, open the room. The ones that have turned blue have passed the litmus test.

Even in Soviet Union they wouldn’t ask you if you a member of Communist Party, or if you sympathize/comply with its ideology. They would kick you out of your place of employment if you become an open dissident, but there was no official ideological litmus test involved in the hiring process in most cases. We are truly tucked up..
DEI... perhaps that signals DEcline of an Institution, and of Higher Learning in general, specifically UNC. I know people who are graduates. Of course, they are very lefty, but the reality and results of this trend are terminal. Anyone with a mind will not be able to tolerate this. So, they lose their job, tenure or no tenure.
All universities need to realize that they are institutions built by supreme whites.
Public (state) universities are financed by tax money, so not attending will not eliminate them.
Hell, FDR did it throughout the Depression.
