As I reflect on the importance of MS Awareness Month, it has been 16 years now since I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, though, looking back, I had symptoms of the disease for much longer.
My journey living with an unpredictable, often frustrating and sometimes debilitating disease can be quite scary, but what started out as a very dark time has been filled with hope and optimism. Some of that is attitude, but lately I’ve been reading that there is even something tangible on the horizon:
A possible vaccine....
... News of a vaccine could be a game-changer. I tried to find out more about this incredible breakthrough, so I called my neurologist Dr. Tracy DeAngelis who has been my doctor (and cheerleader) for over a decade.
Dr. DeAngelis says the vaccine is very promising. it’s based on the same breakthrough mRNA technology that has brought us the COVID-19 vaccine....
... Dr. DeAngelis says one of the great advantages of a potential MS vaccine would be that patients would no longer need to take chronic medications that suppress their immune system, which run the risk of side effects, such as infections.
The vaccine could also potentially prevent the disease from progressing and even improve existing symptoms.
And then there’s this even better news: It could even stop the illness from even happening....

So sorry to hear about your loss. I wish I had something more helpful to say. Take care.

That’s a heckuva lot higher than WuFlu.
Oh, my. So very sorry for your loss. We will be praying for you. 2020 must have been doubly tragic for you and your family.
Yeah, I’m tired of people spreading disinformation and conspiracy theories about the “evil” mRNA vaccines. It is like some people are possessed by QAnon.
Do you think that no doctors or scientist (or their family members) suffer and die from cancer? They do, and I personally know some.
If they knew of a cure, they’d have used it on their child or spouse.
I’m as skeptical as any of the medical profession (having had a career in medical malpractice) but I just don’t see any justification of this claim that I’ve heard often. Remember, there’s money in a cure too.
51. So young. So sorry for your loss. Prayers up for her and her family.
But not nearly as much.
My condolences. I married into an extended family with several MS victims,so I know what a toll this disease takes on the patient and the family.
That is part of it, but suppliers first require that there be a market. And the foundation of transgenderism is the profound confusion about human nature and biology that the Left fosters as an extension of cultural Marxism.
That’s why its taken so long for the med beds. There’s not that much money in it so the technology has been withheld. People are going to be so angry when they find out. Probably later this year. No more vaccines no more chemo.
My condolences. Tough disease.
I'm going to pass this onto him, thanks for posting.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your wife. May our Lord & Savior wrap you in His loving arms and give you peace and comfort. Best to you and your family.
More ‘jackassin. And more making statements of fact with no references or sources.
Keep doing it - keep getting called out. Your choice.
I think the writer may be acknowledging that the mRNA vaccine isn’t really a vaccine, but rather a motherboard for future operating systems. Kind of leaning into trans humanism.
Problem for those living with MS is the damage already caused.
It’s not just stopping the continuation, but repairing.
At some point, they’ll find the actual control mechanism for the de-myelination and may bring an end to the scourge.
But those that got it, and the nerve damage, like stripping the insulation from electrical wiring in your car, that is a Horse of a Different Color.
I knew you couldn’t stay away from me. You’re an addict. 😆
How tragic... Sincere condolences. Are you going to be OK?
“Cancer” is not one single thing; it is hundreds of things. Cancer is any uncontrolled growth of cells that is capable of invading and destroying the function of normal organs and tissues.
Despite this enormous variety of causes, I have read that cancer deaths have declined in the U.S. by about 30% in the last twenty years. The five year survival rate for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) has gone from 40% to 90%.
The cancer I have and the cancer my wife has are totally different and the treatments have nothing in common.
Prayers for your wife and you.
Take care.
