Watching and listening to Joe Biden struggle through a press conference, and the complicit media trying to change the subject from “kids in cages,” I keep thinking back to Max Weber’s famous line about how modern bureaucratic government would end up forging new “iron cages” that we had thought to have got rid of with the arrival of liberal democracy in the Enlightenment. Biden looks to be somewhere between trapped in a cage of his own making, and a padded cell of some kind.

When the liberals screamed about “kids in cages” during the Trump years, that was a crime against humanity. Ocasio-Cortez staged a photo op of her crying at the outrage.
Now, an even worse situation at the border, since a good Democrat is president, it is no longer a crime against humanity to see kids in cages.
Nobody is asking why all these unaccompanied minors are flooding the border. Nobody is talking about the suspected role of drug cartels and assorted human traffickers in all of this.
Judging from the recent tongue-lashing the Biden State Dept got in Alaska,
China does not find Joe Biden’s military of woke Generals, transsexuals,
and pregnant female soldiers very intimidating.

A couple of these were hilarious today. The Suzanne Pleshette one was really the best! I really hope we DO wake up from the nightmare.
Remember what a big deal cognitive faculties were when the Democrats were raving about Trump? You could write an encyclopedia about the Democrats’ hypocrisy. Nowadays it’s a given.
