Whatever way these Leftnick fools try to fill the hog trough for themselves, they will kill the economy. We have those bloodsucking parasite on our necks and it’s time we slap them off before they kill us.

[ It’s like those remote kill switches installed in most cars if you make payments, especially from buy-here, pay-here places a vast majority of the urban poor had to use. If your FICO score is less than 650, that’s your only option in most cases.

I ripped mine out after getting laid off and they killed my car. I threw it on a passing train (with a long-term 12v battery) ]

LOL!

This is one of the reasons I refuse to buy a car newer than 2000!

For the old cars they might require transponders or put trackers in the license plates.

I am surprised that they are not levying a tax at the charging station (i.e. charging so much tax per kilowatt).

In the mind of the Leftists, it isn’t your money. It is theirs, and they decide how much you may keep...if they choose to let you keep any at all.

I’ve read where a few states are concerned about electric cars not paying a gas tax and have suggested requiring GPS to track miles driven in the area that they want taxed. If that ever passes imaging the data that can be collected on a person. It’s outright scary.

Many years ago I worked with a guy that refused to drive a car newer than 1975 and gave the electronics and tracking as 2 of his many reasons. He was decades ahead of the curve on this one.

Not a bad idea IF TAX WERE WEIGHT-BASED.

Then trucks that do most damage/wear & tear on roads would pay the most, cars little.

But then that would kill the trucking industry. And especially concrete companies!

So not a good idea.

Thanks for the great info.

But if people like me leave Michigan we will almost never get to see and hear Gretchen Whitmer and the election fraud princess Sec. of State Jocelyn Benson. Almost never.

Sounds better every time I think about it.

It will be more than a few billion in taxes. If that idea comes about the ripple effect will be far more than just what I mentioned.

Steel and aluminum will be affected and those people will lose their jobs.

The rubber and plastic industries will be affected and those people will lose their jobs.

The oil industry will be further affected because of the lack of demand for rubber and plastics.

It goes on and on.

These people have no concept of what they are even thinking about.

Does this mean that Cars will have two Odometers, one for Public Roads and one for Private Roads?

Will there be IRS Field Agents going house to house to check Odometer Readings?

Just askin’...

Quite right. The rats will not relinquish absolute power. It is silly to think the illegalities of 2020, whether legalized by HR1 or not, will not be refined and extended in 2022.

Just as the Roman Empire, amid the proscriptions and assassinations, kept the institutions of the Roman Republic, so too will the US keep its hollowed-out three branches.

You may not think that you are ‘smart’ - but common sense is a big component. People like Butt-gig have no common or any other real sense.

They just memorize and mouth the buzz-words and rhetoric - and find new ways to steal from our purses.
