It should be the other way around. The Republican Party should sue Dominion for $1.9 Trillion for invalidating the “election”. The vote is dead. Dominion killed it along with Communistdemocratmediaextremists and MarxistBLMAnfifa. The constitutional republic form of government is no more.
These companies claim that the mere suggestion their machines are faulty and/or can be misused is absurd.
Sydney Powell then filed a motion to dismiss the case against her, saying basically that if “the suggestion is absurd” then no reasonable person would believe it.
The onus is on them, at that point, to prove that the claims are not absurd. Which means they may have merit. Which means the claims are no absurd and therefor not defamation.
So yeah, these cases will get dropped.
Dana's a Bushie, joined at the hip with her buddies Chris Wallace, Bret Bair, Brian Kilmeade and sometimes Chris Wallace.
All peas in the same Bushie pod.
She wanted Trump to lose and she also wanted Joe to win.
More likely Fox will settle. Cheaper than defense and the bottom line overrides principles. Or should we still be waiting for the Kracken to be released?
[[Back in November FOX News host Dana Perino urged Dominion Voting Systems to sue Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell]]
Wow, did not know that!! what a scummy thing for her to do! I knew she was a rino, but holy money, what a disappointment she has become!
These suits by Dominion will get nowhere due to First Amendment protection. And they are in fact guilty.
I see the courts doing just what they did in the scopes trial, not allow the defense to give evidence, and allow the offense to do practically anything they want, then the judge will issue a pre-written plagiarized opinion condemning fox News peeps I. A totally agenda driven biased manner.
Who the hell is funding Dominion’s legal department? They apparently believe they can sue everyone into silence.
You think a DC judge is going to allow any type of meaningful discovery? Even if Sydney’s lawyers manage to get the source code (they won’t) someone would need to prove that any weird code (fractional votes, for instance) was used in the election. All the recounts came back clean. So Sydney’s claim of flipping votes is absolute garbage. She now claims that no reasonable person would conclude that she should have been taken seriously when she slandered the company. She isn’t even attempting to suggest the machines can’t count.
In a just world the Dominion people would be using lawyers to try to get their death penalties commuted.
Never understood the whole ‘discovery’ thing. For one, it hasn’t stopped any law suit from being brought forward. Second, it hasn’t resulted in any lawsuit being pulled out. Third, as recently as a couple months ago, Fox News (and Newsmax) was putting out sadly groveling news bits walking back election fraud claims in a manner that seemed to suggest it was they who were afraid of a lawsuit. Finally, the most advanced so far - the case against Sidney Powell - resulted in her taking a ‘no reasonable person’ defends rather than the often-mentioned ‘discovery, yes!’ approach.
So, I wonder why people always make discovery seem to be some sort of Uno Reverse Card, when so far it seems that it’s people on our side groveling and trying to avoid lawsuits?
Almost makes it appear like a modern version of the old European ‘throw salt over your left shoulder’ superstition. Makes those who believe in such feel good, but so far appears pretty ineffective.
Apparently, Dominion management believes that, the best defense is a good offense.
Taking the offensive is a way of intimidation, meant to prevent actions to be taken against the offender. Dominion is guilty.
That was news to me also.
She’s more than a RINO now.
IMO: The Dominion pukes have nothing but bluster and threats. However, our crooked court system (judges) will no doubt side with Dominion if their law suits even get to a court.
Foxnews betrayed the nation for communists now let them fry by communists.
I hope they bankrupt fox news.....
Faux News.
What a bunch of idiots. "Adjudication", idiots.
