There was a protest this afternoon in South Lansing where a number of people gathered in the streets officially to denounce racism.
One protestor said that there were roughly 200 people at the event.
The protestors started and ended in front of Pleasant View Magnet School on Pleasant Grove Rd. in Lansing.
It is unclear at this time exactly who organized the protest but the people were carrying Anarchist, Soviet Union, Black Lives Matter, and various other flags.
