Anti-Asian hate crimes is the new anti-racism crusade for the SJW wokedom.

The latest this morning:

An elderly woman who was attacked on Market Street in San Francisco Wednesday – the latest victim in a wave of attacks on Asians in the Bay Area – turned the tables on her assailant, leaving him with injuries that required a trip to the hospital.

Xiao Zhen Xie candidly spoke with CBS San Francisco about the attack from her senior retirement home in the city,

Good for her for hospitalizing her attacker (I'm actually a bit shocked that CBS news didn't make the suspect's skin color a point of mention in the article since for the last month, I've been reading about attacks on elderly Asians, and the attackers happened to be black- yet not mentioned about; while other news headlines have made mention of attacker's ethnicity when they happen to be white on PoC crimes).  And at the very, very end of the article:

“... and police say they're trying to determine if bias was a factor.”

At the end of the article.  

No need to determine.  Mainstream media is already painting the narrative as "anti-Asian" and fueling the bias.

Prior to this, we had the big national headline news regarding a mass shooting; but instead of fueling the usual anti-gun modus operandi, the new narrative being fueled is another anti-Asian attack (especially since the shooter happens to be a white male caucasian murderer where 6 of his 8 or 9 victims were Asian).  And now Cherokee County sheriff's captain has stepped in it with some in-artful comments; and of course it must be due to his racism (just look at his "Chinese virus" t-shirts he was promoting!).  And of course the fact that the shooter was taken into custody alive is more evidence of America's "systemic racism".

For quite some time now we've been hearing about a 1,900% increase in anti-Asian crime; or 3,000 hate crimes reported (though hardly verified) on anti-Asian incidents.  But when I've looked at some of the major recent incidents being cited by pundits and even straight news organizations to trace the news, there is no actual evidence of the suspect's crime being motivated by racism; and it some of these, no mention of race- and I can't help but believe that it's because the criminal suspects happen to be black (when you do some deeper sleuthing).

For instance, this horrific NYC subway attack:

There has been a significant surge in hate crimes against Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, according to New York City police data. We spoke to one victim, a Filipino American man named Noel, who describes waiting for a subway train in New York before being slashed across the face with a knife. He, like many in the AAPI community, is speaking out to take a stand against these attacks in the hope prevent further violence on Asian Americans.

The police have not called it a hate crime; nor does the man know what caused the attack.  Leave it to mainstream media and activists to push that perception though and fuel the narrative.  When this story first came out, I saw mention of a video screen capture when they were looking for the suspect, but no mention of his race.  Well, he appears to be black.

The elderly 84 year old Thai American Vichar Ratanapakdee who was violently shoved to the ground in San Francisco is a case in point. Antoine Watson is the suspect.  19 years old.

It's not as though street thugs haven't been abusing other elderly victims.Does it only happen to Asian elderly?

Another recent elderly woman who was attacked about a week ago Tuesday:

A man has been arrested in connection with a brutal attack on an elderly Asian American woman in White Plains, New York, police said Friday.

Nancy Toh, 83, was spit on and punched near the Westchester shopping center on Tuesday, police said. She hit the ground hard enough that she "blacked out momentarily," White Plains police Capt. James Spencer said in a statement.

The suspect arrested and charged?  Glenmore Nembhard.  Google his image and you'll see he's not a white male (supremacist).

The violence occurred amid an explosion of attacks on Asian Americans only a few months after the end of President Donald Trump's tenure as a leader who repeatedly blamed the Covid-19 pandemic on China.

President Joe Biden addressed the issue Thursday in his first primetime address.

"At this very moment, so many of them, our fellow Americans, are on the front lines of this pandemic trying to save lives and still — still are forced to live in fear for their lives just walking down streets in America," he said. "It's wrong, it's un-American, and it must stop."

An analysis this month by the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino, indicated hate crimes targeting people of Asian heritage in the U.S.'s 16 largest cities rose nearly 150 percent in 2020.

President Biden's EO condemning Asian hate crime was ridiculous pandering that doesn't actually achieve anything.

A friend of mine on FB took issue with a link and post I put up.  She posted a comment linking to Hollywood Asian wokness- I mean wokeness.

I responded in this way:

I’m familiar with that perspective- it’s the narrative constantly being pushed; and I reject it. I listened to these Asian actors last year when alarmist claims were being made regarding rising anti-Asian “hate” crimes in wake of the “Chinese virus”.

So why is race mentioned only when it fits a certain narrative? The recent story about the 9-year old girl pepper-sprayed? I can show you headline blurbs that see fit to mention her “race”- the assumption being those same officers would have treated a 9 year old white girl the same, assuming also that the behavior and circumstances were exactly the same- the one variable being skin color.

Contrast that with MSNBC story in your link:

The 1st story about the elderly Thai man in San Francisco who was killed when pushed down. Note that none of the headline stories mention the race of the alleged suspect, Antoine Watson. Nor have I seen any stories that know for a fact that his motive was pure racial animosity. Maybe it was. But is the fact verified before the reportage as a racial “hate” crime?

The second story from Oakland/Chinatown with 3 more elderly pushed down. Where’s the evidence it was racially motivate? No mention of race? Maybe if he were white. That would fit the hysteria-driven scare-mongering over white supremacists. But no, the suspect is not white. Nor is his motive known. Yet this is lumped in as a “hate” crime (I’m sure the Southern Poverty Law Center is on it to add to their data base). That it happened to elderly in Chinatown, well….the probability of those elderly folk walking around who just happen to be Asian might be pretty high, you know?

A HuffPo article (by Brittany Wong, of course) I read last night mentions these same two stories (in the same manner of superb fanning the flames brand of journalism) and another one about a 61 Filipino man who had his face slashed in a NYC subway. No mention of race. But guess what? Take a look at the image of the suspect from surveillance footage. According to the Daily News, this is the description they gave in their article:

“Cops released surveillance images of the suspect Thursday and asked for the public’s help tracking him down. He’s described as between 20 and 30, wearing a black North Face jacket, red hoodie, blue jeans, a red bandanna and light-colored sneakers.”

You have to actually see his image to know he’s black.

If he were white, I’m sure they would have included that in the text.

3,000 reported “hate” crimes reported by Asians nationwide? Ok. Assuming the accuracy of these as racially motivated crimes, we are a nation of around 330 million. Rising crime against Asians? Or rising crime in general where a number of those affected also happen to be Asian? And yes, there are idiots out there who are racist, who may think Asians caused the pandemic; some who are mentally ill. But why the need to turn mole-hills into mountains and skew perspective and perception to be something that it is probably not? Why the jump to conclusions that these abuses and crimes trending against the elderly are another new wave of racially-motivated crimes? Why the need for “hate” crime laws? Crimes are crimes. Punish the actions and not the thoughts.

I agree with Glenn Loury, John McWhorter, Coleman Hughes and those who have looked at the data and the research out there and cross-referenced the facts and say that at no other time in history has America been least racist.

This is another serious propaganda approach where the media is playing the racial game without offering proof are claiming those few attacks on Asians was done because of their supporting Covid 19. That should get stomped on.

They’re doing this to cover the demons who worked with the CCP who don’t want the CCP to be blamed for creating the CCP 19 virus. Let’s not forget members of the Biden campaign the demons boastfully acknowledged that Covid 19 really helped get Biden in. The conservative media should refer to it as “The CCP 19 virus not the “China Virus” and demand make the CCP pay by kicking Biden and the CCP out which would happen if that did with a Biden loss.
