The conflict in which we are now engaged is stark. The Left hates America and wants to destroy (or “fundamentally transform”) it. The Democratic Party, having drunk the Critical Race Theory kool-aid, is now openly anti-American. So those are the battle lines: on one side, those who love our country and want to preserve it. On the other, those who hate our country and want to destroy it.
Unfortunately, our public education system is almost 100% in the hands of the haters, organized and mobilized by the teachers’ unions. Our children are steadily being indoctrinated in anti-Americanism. But here and there, a few politicians stick up for our country.
Not surprisingly, Ron DeSantis is one of them. He is resisting the infiltration of Florida’s school system by Critical Race Theory, which is simply a long way of saying “racism.”
Critical Race Theory will be explicitly excluded from Florida’s new statewide civics education, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said while unveiling the program.
The Republican governor addressed the academic study while discussing his proposed $106 million initiative to support a new civics curriculum for students at a press conference Wednesday afternoon.
… “Florida civics curriculum will incorporate foundational concepts with the best materials, and it will expressly exclude unsanctioned narratives like critical race theory and other unsubstantiated theories.”

The battle is pretty much over.
It’s always darkest before the dawn. Or so it is said.
I do.
It’s time.
We can always make more children. The ones we have are poisoned.
Defeatism does not win or protect anything however.
Haven’t you heard. The next generation of children will be born in beakers.
The neocons want us to spread democracy across the world regardless of the consequences. The libertarians want a free market even if it means most jobs will be sent to foreign countries. Various social conservatives would like it if their particular brand of Christian social life is more fully supported by the government and their idea of sin is criminalized.
No one wants to hear from the boring "good government" conservatives who want to focus on balanced budgets and living within our means.
And conservatives by and large don't want to try and replicate a "march through the institutions" that the Marxists just successfully completed. There is only talk of somehow erecting parallel competing institutions such as on-line training and conservative news aggregation sites. Of course all of these attempts will either fail due to lack of funding or by being cancelled by Big Tech and the Banksters.
Can we really hope to fight the cycle of civilizational rise and collapse? Is America going to be the first empire ever to achieve world domination and keep it despite the increasing debauchery and apathy that world domination engenders?
I’m sorry, but it’s over. Once we accept that, we make our plans.
I don’t recommend Total defeatism.
If its too much for you, I’d suggest you walk away from the internet about this, or instead offer something more constructive.
The USA has always been a melting pot for ideas, the things we should be extremely careful of are Constitutional rights, civil liberties, and elections, imo.
There is no possibility of correcting or fixing anything without that.
Money can always be made in a country that values freedom. As for the banks and parallel structures, I’d not be too sure that is impossible.
Again, defeatism serves no purpose.
Neither do I RF. What we are seeing is the beginning of the culmination of the “long game” the left has been engaging in for over 50 years now.
But never fear, the GOPE is here.
My question is does this end without the bloodshed of patriots? I doubt it.
Which one?
I say a huge chunk of the old USA can be saved with a secession of many states.
RADICAL race theory.

We are there.
Nobody’s right, if everybody’s wrong.
Are you telling me I got to beware?
I think it started with Woodrow Wilson.
I would have said one hundred years.
