On Monday Zack Meggs reached out to The Gateway Pundit. Zach’s parents were arrested in February by the FBI for protesting inside the US Capitol on January 6th. Zach’s parents are still being held by their government for nearly a month now. His father is in isolation most of the day.
The Meggs family owns a farm in Florida. Zach had to move back home after his parents were arrested to take care of the farm animals including goats, horses, dogs, and donkeys.
During the arrest, the FBI let all of their donkeys lost in the neighborhood.

Should the FBI start getting kidnapping and associated charges filed against them?
Nary a peep from elected officials (don't expect it from Democrats or some RINOs).
If those being detained were not part of the group inside the Capitol building, there is no reason for this other than political persecution.
As a side note: are John Sullivan and that CNN reporter, both of whom were in the Capitol on January 6, still running free?

Even if they were in the Capitol, it doesn’t warrant being locked up without bail for a month. This is an 8th Amendment issue.
Yeah. We need a campaign to make the agents’ lives as miserable as possible. Publicly expose them and let them get a taste of their own medicine.

Right. And for the sake of argument, let’s assume they were actually in the Capitol. That would justify the arrest. But it would not justify being held without bail.
So either way they are political prisoners.

This is outrageous. The FBI is now sicced on our own people instead of ferreting out actual criminals, the DOJ is targeting politicians that don’t kiss the right buttocks and agree to sell out America, the Supreme Court turns its back on the theft of elections. Where did America go?
The Meggs exercised their first amendment rights and protested on Jan 6th.
By all accounts, neither Zack nor his wife were involved in any violence.
Yet they received govt retribution... a direct violation of the 1st amendment.
As far as I can tell, Zack Meggs lives in Dunnellon Florida.

His office is quite insistent they won’t do anything to help the Meggs family.
