Georgetown Law professor caught complaining about black students on Zoom: video
A white Georgetown Law professor was fired Thursday after getting caught on video belittling black students during a Zoom call with a colleague, saying they âusuallyâ perform âjust plain at the bottomâ of her classes.
Georgetown Law Dean Bill Treanor said he was âappalledâ by the conversation between now-terminated adjunct professor Sandra Sellers and another faculty member, David Batson, who was placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
Hereâs the video of the relevant part of their conversation:

In the video, Sellers says:
âI hate to say this â I end up having this angst, every semester, that a lot of my lower ones are blacks. Happens almost every semester.â
Sellers was fired for that.
She wasnât fired for lying.
She was fired for telling the truth about affirmative action.
In 2017, the New York Times wrote:
A 2009 Princeton study showed Asian-Americans had to score 140 points higher on their SATs than whites, 270 points higher than Hispanics and 450 points higher than blacks to have the same chance of admission to leading universities.
Sellersâs statement in the video â the statement for which she was fired â is really no different than that quote from the New York Times.
In 2012, the Atlantic wrote this article, which is called, âThe Painful Truth About Affirmative Action.â It explains how affirmative action causes many black students to be âmismatchedâ to colleges that are above their ability.
According to the article, black students who get admitted to college based on merit tend to end up graduating, whereas black students who get admitted to college based on affirmative action tend to end up dropping out. The solution is to get rid of affirmative action, so that each and every black student will be properly matched to a college that matches their own unique ability.
Graduating from a college that the student got admitted to based on merit, is far, far better than dropping out of a college that the student got admitted to based on affirmative action.
Another point that the Atlantic article repeatedly makes is that black students who get admitted based on merit tend to be far happier than black students who get admitted based on affirmative action.
I strongly recommend reading the entire Atlantic article, which is available here.
Sellersâs statement in the video â the statement for which she was fired â is really no different than that article from the Atlantic.
Sellers wasnât fired for lying.
She was fired for telling the truth about affirmative action.
“Georgetown Law Dean Bill Treanor said he was âappalledâ by the conversation”
German Chocolate cake was invented in Germantown Pennsylvania.
It’s a shame people cannot speak truth anymore.
More incompetent blacks get promoted only because of color.
Her “angst” is that she is expected to help graduate all of her black students but their performance is so bad she struggles with it every semester or year. She was fired for admitting what no college dare admit-that there simply aren’t enough black candidates to meet Affirmative Action “requirements” set down by the college. One dirty secret that the race pimps will never admit is that black female college graduates make MORE money than their white peers BECAUSE so many employers “need” them on their staff lest they get called out for “racism”.
As far as AMERICAN born Asians, I have sympathy, but the problem I’ve found is that since so many foreign (mainly Chinese) “asians” come here to attend school, how are we supposed to know what percentage are getting screwed by this system? In other words, foreign students SHOULD be at the back of the line, but we’re never told how many of these asian students are American born legitimately or are foreign attendees.
She stormed out. We published the study. Today I would be fired.
“My appraisals were pieces of art, carefully scripted to have any subsequent interviewer read between the lines.”
Reminds me of the old reference-check joke:
Q: What do you think of Fred?
A: You’d be lucky to get him to work for you.
Hard to believe receiving a Participation Trophy doesn’t make you a Winner??
She merely stated a factual observation. This is obviously now 'taboo' and any violators must be 'wished into the cornfield' and ostracized from society forever.
Crazy times, and it will not end well.
