Lawyers for former President Donald Trump sent a cease and desist letter to the Republican National Committee (RNC) over the weekend demanding that they stop using his name and likeness for fundraising efforts.
The letters were also sent to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) and National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).
This follows a report that Trump and his new campaign team are also cracking down on the use of the president’s name for fundraising
According to a scoop from Politico on Saturday, Trump wants the organizations to stop “using his name and likeness on fundraising emails and merchandise.”
On Monday the RNC responded and told Trump attorneys to stuff it — the Republican Party will continue to raise donations using Trump’s name!

Unless Trump signed a contract with the RNC, they don’t have the right to use his name anymore than they have the right to use my father’s name to advertise...both are civilians and neither is running for office.
Trump owes them nothing...and, as I said, they need to be VERY CAREFUL with him, or they’ll be out of work in 6 months.
I donated a half-dozen separate times and WinRed only charged me once each time. However, I didn’t like all of the boxes I had to uncheck and carefully click through things to keep from making it recurring, or get an extra “match”, or add more to the donation. It really kind of reminded me of those old record/cd clubs where you had to make sure you mailed your card back every three weeks so you didn’t buy the featured selection!
He doesn’t want to kill it, he wants to control it. Only way to control it is through money. He who controls the money, controls the party. He knows they are corrupt traitors who keep using money to re-electe them. He is purifying the party by controlling the cash, because Trump knows he is the main money draw. Thats why the RNC still wants to use his image.

Fair enough... but in the CPAC speech he made it clear he was staying in the GOP as the presumptive nominee.
Stated intentions do carry some fair assumptions about future contracts pending.

Actually I hope he IS doing this just to put them out of business permanently... but that can hurt his own credibility and standing politically... like a captain pointing a cannon into the deck of his own ship... he’s going down with it if he pulls the trigger.
However... I see it all as misdirection.

Best solution (I’ve had to use it once with my BOA) is go to the bank and have them stop it permanently...
Used this approach after I had changed the marina where I stored my boat and the old marina kept billing me...
Immediately after the first illegal billing I went to my bank (BOA)...
BOA canceled the recurring debit... Based on looking at my transaction records, they could see that the other other marina was, in fact, storing my boat and billing me for it...
BOA said that if I reported it as fraud, they would reimburse me for that first fraudulent payment debit by the old marina...
I told that marina and they quickly reimbursed me...
That was several years ago... Before I came to despise BOA for its SJW policies...

Wishful thinking. The establishment certified the stolen election 93-7 and President Trump is now sitting on a Florida beach. All that after 4 years of bipartisan coup that obstructed President Trump and the MAGA agenda. Nothing has changed in the swamp and as long as Trump remains in the GOP nothing will.
