The chair of the conservative House Freedom Caucus is urging Rep. Liz Cheney to step down from her position as the number three House Republican in leadership over her latest critical comments of former President Donald Trump.
"She should step down," Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona told reporters on Thursday.
And Rep. Chip Roy of Texas, another House Freedom Caucus member, said Cheney has "forfeited her right to be chair of the Republican Caucus."

Problem Mr. Biggs. You blew your chance to remove her when you couldn’t muster enough support, and couldn’t even force a recorded vote within the GOP caucus. The Freedom Caucus is a powerless rump in the GOP and should leave en masse to join President Trump in a new Patriot Party. Fighting a fruitless rearguard action within the GOP is a losing strategy.
Yes, her time in politics is coming to a close.

It would be hard for the Freedom Caucus to join Trump in a party, the Patriot Party, that Trump's not in.
I see it more that Dick Cheney starts wars around the world, because at home he was outnumbered by three impossible clucking hens.
