New York Senate Democrats moved on Wednesday to strip Governor Andrew Cuomo of his Emergency pandemic powers.

This comes after news broke earlier tonight that the FBI and US Attorney in Brooklyn are reportedly investigating Governor Cuomo’s handling of nursing homes amid the Covid pandemic.

And earlier today the New York Post reported that Cuomo threatened to destroy a fellow Democrat over nursing home criticism.

These morons should be held accountable as well. They’re the ones who gave him the emergency powers to begin with, and never tried to stop his over-stepping. The State Legislature consists of a large majority of Democrats in both chambers. They’ve been giving Cuomo everything he wanted. Now they want to hold him accountable? They’re as guilty as he is.

I’m still not quite sure just how real this episode is.
When Mario starts giving firey, profanity laced speeches to the press or on Twitter about his fellow Dems, maybe then I will believe this is not elaborate choreography to avoid actual criminal prosecution.

Too late. The damage is done, and a very high number of nursing home deaths are the result.

Besides, the emergency powers were soon to end, which means that taking that power away is meaningless.

Democrats want to give the impression that they’re the ones holding Cuomo accountable, but, it’s all a farce on their part.
