Psaki Says Coal and Natural Gas – NOT Frozen Wind Turbines Caused Power Grid Failure in Texas Cold Snap (VIDEO)

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday said coal and natural gas – NOT frozen wind turbines – caused the power grid failure in this week’s Texas cold snap.

Texas got hit with a rare cold snap that spanned to the southern part of the state and the power grids gave out.

.... Snip....

Millions of Texans suffered blackouts partly due to the frozen wind turbines.

Psaki said reports suggesting renewables caused the power grid failure in Texas are inaccurate, rather it was renewables that came in to save the day.

“Numerous reports show that it was failure in coal and natural gas that contributed to the state’s power shortages,” Psaki said.

My God, how ignorant. They take us being so gullible that we’ll believe this. Who’s advising them, AOC?

We’re not the ones they’re talking to.

Any failure in the gas and coal plants was operational. Either poor planning or execution.
The failure of wind turbines and solar farms was natural causes. Frozen turbines and snow covered panels. Which proves once again, you don’t fool with mother nature.

Not that I’ve seen. Of course he in Perry were the ones who put the windmills up in the first place.

The Arctic blast that left millions of Texans in the cold as wind turbines froze also sent shivers down the spines of those convinced that the rolling blackouts offer a chilling glimpse of the future under President Biden’s green-energy agenda.

Despite its status as a major oil-and-gas producer, Texas relied on wind for 23% of its electricity in 2020, but about half of that capacity went offline Monday after freak winter storms, record snow and frigid cold iced the West Texas turbines.

I watched a few minutes of one of her pressers. She can’t hold a candle to Kayleigh. I actually felt sorry for her.

A simple response to her claim:

Oh really? What broke?

How does the northern states and Canada keep the lights on in winter?

We recognize the fact that there is a fourth season called "winter" and that winter is usually marked by ice, snow, and cold temperatures. As a result we build powerplants and install wind generating systems that can continue to operate in cold temperatures and inclement weather. It's a more expensive investment but at least our lights are on and our furnaces are working.

These people are going to kill Americans. Who is running this show? It’s obviously not Biden and it isn’t Harris either. So who is behind this propaganda?

I am not going to say that there were not also issues at coal or natural gas fired plants but to say renewables came to the rescue is absolutely laughable. If Trump’s press secretary had said this, the media would be howling.
