White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday said coal and natural gas – NOT frozen wind turbines – caused the power grid failure in this week’s Texas cold snap.
Texas got hit with a rare cold snap that spanned to the southern part of the state and the power grids gave out.

Millions of Texans suffered blackouts partly due to the frozen wind turbines.
Psaki said reports suggesting renewables caused the power grid failure in Texas are inaccurate, rather it was renewables that came in to save the day.
“Numerous reports show that it was failure in coal and natural gas that contributed to the state’s power shortages,” Psaki said.

By the way. The National Guard is real fast and pointing bayonets at the American people lately. I haven’t seen a word about the Texas National Guard conducting any relief operations in Texas. No Manning emergency warming shelters, providing hot food, safe drinking water. All of the stuff they normally do.
They sure moved into action when they wanted them in DC.

Liar. Wind turbines are and have producing practically nothing. ERCOT says wind turbines are about 25,000 MW of capacity. Actual power being produced right now? 2818 which is 11% capacity utilization. And, I’m due for my umpteenth power outage in less than 20 minutes. If we instead of expensive useless wind turbines, had 25,000 MW from coal plants, our issues would not be what they are.

In most ways it did. According to authorities from the utility, 16 gigawatts of electricity was lost from the renewable sources being down and 30 gigawatts was lost from coal, gas, and nuclear plants being down. All due to the storm and cold.

Oh, well if the people who caused the shortage say that’s what happened. I guess we should believe it. They don’t have any reason to shave the truth, and to protect their precious renewable windmills.
