Michigan State Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey was caught on camera telling officials from the Hillsdale County Republican Party that the Capitol takeover was “staged” and a “hoax.”
In the footage, which is over an hour long, Shirkey also says that Mitch McConnell “was part of it… They wanted to have a mess” so that they could impeach Donald Trump.
The video was posted on YouTube by Hillsdale County Republican Party Secretary Jon Smith, who is upset with Shirkey for repeatedly caving to Democrats.
During the conversation, Shirkey says that the January 6 protest “wasn’t Trump people.”
“That’s been a hoax from day one, that was all pre-arranged,” Shirkey adds, asserting that the people “went in on separate buses, that was all arranged by somebody that was funding everyone.”

No the bus tour was a figment of lies and BS. No those arrest records don’t show that, another unsubstantiated claim by a conspiracy liar believed by morons.
No, I use my freaking brain. Think about it. For either set of riots to be a setup THOUSANDS of people would have to be involved. I scrolled through bunch - NOT all - of comments and didn’t see a single mention of the fact that this was a hidden video recording of Shirkey by a fellow Republican party member who claims that he was at the Capitol building on 1/6.
I would like this guy identified, as well as the guy sitting across from him (the nervous one he came in with, who keeps looking at the hidden camera). Shirkey clearly knows them both well (I never heard either name mentioned, but did not listen to the whole hour).

There are CAMERAS EVERYWHERE in DC....they could EASILY identify those busses!
People are being arrested for obviously ironic or comedic statements (Ricky Vaughn).
Since there are no public hangings under any governmental unit in the United States, and since "don't you have a sense of humor?" doesn't work with judges, you should be more careful.

The beauty of it all at this point is that their Capitol Hill “false flag” operation appears to be a MAJOR Achilles heel they’re ALL desperately afraid of.

I said on another thread yesterday- we need to vote them all OUT and start over with a new house and new senate. We are governed by evil people out only for themselves.
Sure would be great if there was a justice department in the federal government who took an interest in criminal activity, who believed in the Constitution.

I think it’s the exact opposite - almost all would have voted to acquit - even most Democrats - but they were afraid of the CCP.
Here’s my reasoning:
The case was televised, with a huge number of Americans watching.
The House managers’ case was so absurd as to be an embarrassment.
Anyone watching - right or left - knew it was just lies - and not even convincing ones. It was a total joke.
So why vote to convict when everyone watching knows it’s all lies?
Isn’t that the same as admitting on live TV that you are a liar?
Admitting on live TV that you will destroy someone’s life based on lies?
Deny them due process? Deny freedom of speech? Steal an election and lie about it?
I think voting to convict over this lame article was so political suicide - even for Democrats - even Democrat voters won’t trust proven liars.
Yet they did it anyway. Why?
They are terrified of something.
Could it be the Chinese Communist Party has their hooks in deeper than anyone knew - anyone but President Trump?
I mean, Senator Swalwell gets caught sleeping with a CCP spy and he doesn’t even get thrown off his committees? You can’t make this stuff up.
I think what we have been calling the deep state is Red China, and they own DC, lock stock and barrel. They own the counter intelligence agencies. They own the State Department. Now own the White House. They own the media. They own Academia. They own Wall Street. They own the Fed. They own K street.

There is no more a repugnant figure in Michigan politics than the absolutely craven and duplicitous Shirkey, who was the key GOPee criminal who prevented any effort by the GOPee-majority state legislature to Stop The Steal. He is as bad as it gets, even worse than Gretch the Wretch, because she doesn’t put on a false face like scumbag Shirkey. Of course, the numbnuts in the state GOPee chose Shirkey as their “leader.” Now the state GOPee is looking into the abyss with Trump voters leaving the GOPee in droves and the party is looking to scapegoat Shirkey, so he’s making mumbles and spewing prevaricating bullschitt to try and save his worthless azz.
